organization duplicate check
I would love to see the Organization Duplicate Check improved. Currently it won't catch most duplicates unless it is an exact match. For example, if there is a comma in one org name but not the other and they are otherwise the same it won't catch it, same with an "Inc" at the end of one org name. The Person name duplicate check is sooo broad; it would be great for the org name duplicate check to be a little more broad.

What if there was a standard report that would find potential duplicate orgs (and contacts)? It could be run once a month to help locate potential duplicates to improve data integrity, instead of finding them individually, when randomly encountered.

Agreed. We work with universities and the variation of spellings is staggering (University of Texas Austin vs University of Texas at Austin vs University of Texas, Austin, etc..) Have to use batch update to change them all to one name, then use duplicate check to merge them with each other. Very tedious and time consuming process.
