An error occurred while saving the comment Nicki Charles commentedI don't understand how community foundations are getting by without this. This is a ridiculous task when you are pulling history and need to see all funds affected by what should be a single journal entry. If it isn't going to autobalance between the funds, there MUST be a way to connect these entries or make it possible to do one entry with multiple funds. The time that is takes and the margin for error is way to much.

Sometimes you need a negative donation. It's the only way we can think of to reverse a gift (without deleting) after it has successfully been deposited and then is returned for NSF or a closed account. It is not uncommon for this to cross months, so it definitely means that we won't be unposting the bank reconciliation.
I need that gift to have a negative against their donor record and for it to come back out of the fund without messing with the original deposit or the bank rec.
