Formatting for "Amount" fields in all Content areas
Please format the "amount" field for all Content notifications to display as $#,###.## (e.g., $64,500.00). Formatting currency with commas is essential for clarity, especially with larger numbers.

Indicate required fields with an asterisk
A great enhancement would be to indicate which fields are required when creating a new record (profile, donation, grants, voucher, etc.) --- such as an asterisk to indicate that a field is required. This is a well-known standard.
Currently, the only indicator is an error message when saving/posting.77 votes -
RevShare by Fund Group AND Import Internal Grants
We share the cost of SLM across Scholarship fund group and the cost of GLM across Unrestricted and Field of Interest fund groups. Currently, there's no way to RevShare an expense across FUND GROUPS nor is there a way to import long list for INTERNAL GRANTs. We have to hand enter each fund's share of the cost for ~200 funds. If one of these options was available, we'd save hours of our precious time.
So I request:
1) the option to RevShare across FUND GROUP
and
2) the ability to import for INTERNAL GRANTs

Additional information for Grantees (T3010) Report
In the Grantees (T3010) Report (under CRA Reporting), it would be helpful to add a field for the expense account related to each grant. Then one could sort the data and tie back to the financial statements much more easily. I'm adding this information manually and would love to eliminate this step!

Dashboard
Change/Edit Date Range for Dashboard display should be sticky. Currently, the Start and End Date for Dashboard can be edited to display a different range than the default, pre-populated range. However, navigating away from the Dashboard reverts the date range back to default values. It would be amazing if the Start and End Dates were sticky, so I don't have to edit/re-select dates every time I go to the Dashboard.

Revenue Share: "Percent" and "Avg Balance" Columns do NOT export
Please add ability for "Percent" and "Avg Balance" detail to export with the Revenue Share Audit Balance Percent Detail Report. It would be useful information to have both the Beginning "percentage" and the Ending "percentage" per month calculated and exportable.

Choose specific grant/check/donation to test Templates
It would be great to be able to choose a specific grant/check/donation for the Test Function with Templates. It would be an extension of the ability to check Template Fields by entering a specific record.

Would it be possible for donors to receive Candid/Guidestar data via CSuite? It would be great if donors could get that information.

Custom Reports need more options for numeric values other than TOTAL (like AVERAGE, MIN, MAX, COUNT) without grouping or removing fields
For numeric fields in a custom report there is currently a "Total Column" checkbox option to total the data from all rows in that column. The total will display in a new row at the bottom of the column.
We'd like the same thing but with the option for Average, Min, Max, Count, etc. Those are only possible now by grouping and removing all other fields. We end up with the calculated value but can't see any of the individual records or details. We can get what we need in Excel by exporting and adding a formula but would like…

Our staff would like the ability to list more than one fund steward. Right now you can only add one employee but we have a lot of donors who have more of a primary and secondary steward. This idea was previously requested but was archived.

Calendar View in CommunitySuite
Would really like to be able to see a calendar view of tasks and deadlines in CommunitySuite or be able to integrate with their Outlook or Google calendar.

Add payment instructions field to scholarships (Sship ID) that will show on check letters
On the Sship ID level, add a field, or allow the description field, to move with the scholarship through to the grant/voucher process and appear in check letter.
At this point, there is no way to communicate necessary payment instructions to schools when sending scholarship checks without a workaround that is time consuming when managing hundreds of scholarship grants in a week. At this time, the workaround is broken and is part of ticket ID #170033.

Multiple Email Options for Communications
When individuals unsubscribe from Mailchimp emails, it is impossible to discern if they want to unsubscribe just from marketing/ communication emails and who should just simply be marked "do not email". If Foundant could add choices on emails that indicates something to the effect of, "Marketing Emails" and/or "Foundation business" as boxes to check as options, similar to "mailing" or "inactive" for mailing addresses, that would be very helpful. Currently, if someone unsubscribes from a MailChimp blast, there is no way to realistically remove that person from marketing email blasts unless you go 1-by-1 and remove them from every campaign…

"Logout" button design and position in Csuite
I would like to see the design and position of the "Logout" button to be changed within Csuite so it's easily distinguished from "Portal," "Reports" and the other menu options.
Most user interfaces have the logout option at one corner of a page and usually the font or design is different so it's not mistaken for another menu option. After the update adding the "Portal" option to the menu bar at the top of CSuite, I find myself sometimes misclicking and accidentally logging myself out.

New Login Screen - Default to PIN
The new functionality to get MFA by email has now ADDED more clicks for users who have been regularly using MFA apps/PIN. Now we have to select the PIN option before entering. Can we make PIN the default and if someone wants the code by email, they can click that option? Usability and the number of clicks a normal user has to make really needs to be taken into account when making updates to the system. New functionality should try to avoid add more work to the common user.

Easily searchable for grants/checks/journal entries/vouchers/documents and more
For checks/grants/vouchers/deposits/donations/documents and more, each has its own way of listing all the related items. Either 20 items per page or hundreds of items on one page. If there are 20 items per page, I have to advance it every 2 or so pages until I find the item I need and it could be years ago so this is very time consuming. There needs to be consistency and a search field within to search all pages without having to go page by page or be able to view all items or 50 items or 250 items.

mobile app
Has Foundant explored the idea of creating their own mobile app for CSuite? I see a lot of requests related to making content more mobile friendly and responsive. I know you are revamping the donation pages with this in mind. But what about if there are staff members who could be helped by having a true mobile app with limited functionality? I'd bet there are many that have to be in the field meeting with folks for at least part of their day, and they would find great benefit in being able to quickly look up profiles, view grant and…

Opening a DAF
Currently we use DocuSign to open a DAF and email. Most financial institutions that have a DAF product can be opened online.
Can a process similar to GLM/SLM be used to open a DAF especially since DocuSign is being integrated. This would be helpful for opening all types of new funds.7 votes -
idea lab
Often when Foundant support is unable to help with a situation due to product limitations, they'll suggest that I submit it to the Idea Lab. I understand that I have a vested interest and want to see the product improve, but sometimes I'm in a state of doing my best to get work completed. I don't always have time to log into the Idea Lab, search to see if the idea is already out there, then, if it's not re-explain my situation in a new Idea Lab post.

Security Issue: Re-Activating A User to Address Their Tasks & Non-Shared Reports
When we off-board someone, we inactivate their account in CSuite. Depending on the situation, this may be done quickly. Whether it's quick or not, later on, we may need to re-assign their tasks to someone else. They also may have valuable custom reports that they neglected to share. Either one of these two require us to re-activate the user so that we can login as them to address the items. When we do that, we lose tracking on when we originally inactivated them.
