This would allow us to re-align user roles to better handle security. We currently want to create some new roles to be more granular, then de-commission some broad roles. Because we need to make changes at the field level over a large number of fields, we have not started this initiative. This should address the issue we have and allow us to make role changes much easier.

The October release is targeting a smart search feature to improve performance on list views; however, this initial release has limited availability and is targeted for GA in the February release.

Of the suggestions listed above, the ability to insert SQL code for more complex reports is the MOST important. Right now I struggle with report writer and spend hours figuring out how to get data, knowing that I could write a SQL statement that would pull what I need in a few minutes. This could be a true time saver that would allow users to create true "power reports".
