organization contact
Allow a Household to be the Contact for an Organization - for example, often a couple owns a business, or two people are the contacts for a foundation. The system should allow you to choose whether to input the fields for an individual or the fields for a household as the contact/contacts.

Profile Links naming
I appreciate the recent separation of Profile Links between links among profiles vs the links of a person's role at the Organization, but I've found while navigating reporting - since the change rolled out - that the profile filter referring to Profile Linked to Organization has become confusing in opposition to the Role at Organization filter option.
My suggestion is that the overall category of Profile Links remain the same, but that the naming difference among the Profile Link/Profile Link and the Profile Link/Organization Role be simplified to Relationships and Roles. That would look like this:

Add Internal Grants to Donation Summary (Direct & Advised)
Donor Advised Fund gifts to our operations or other internal fund do not appear in the "Donation Summary (Direct And Advised)" section of a donor profile. We'd love to see this feature added. Without it, we're not getting the full picture of a donor's giving in a particular year.

Profile Release in Sandbox
When you list profiles, please show (Inactive) profiles in red like in the live site. It is very confusing and you should not have to do a report every time you want to list profiles to see which one is inactive.

work organization
It would be helpful for the "work organization" field in a profile to be a searchable/self-populating type field (like for funds, etc) so that you can link a profile to their employer easier.

in the profile there is individual name and recognition name. When the donor is part of a household, the name shows up as Smith, Susie Q.

PLEASE add a left-side menu option on Profiles for mailing labels, that will work when we filter Profiles for any given parameter. Efficiency is the key to our foundation, and being able to just click on Mailing Labels rather than go through a bunch of steps to create a Campaign to make labels is super needed.

Make Individual, Household, and Organization Functionality Changed
Before the profile links changed, it used to be the case where the left-hand side had options of "Make Individual," "Make Household," and "Make Organization" would show up no matter what. But now, if a profile has any org role link, I guess you can't see those options anymore. So the workaround is to delete the profile links. You have the opportunity to convert the profile to household, individual or organization, and then you have to reassign the profile link. It is an unnecessary workaround; I had to go through C-Suite chat support to understand this was the case.

Linked profiles
I discovered that if a fund has ANY linked profiles, you cannot enter historical donations/grants to it unless the profile is linked to that fund. This does not make much sense, especially dealing with historical data. Can this be corrected to not have this issue? Or if we need to unlink the profiles, is there a way to do a bulk unlink to unlink multiple profiles at one time?

custom fields
I am looking for a way to combine donation activity in reports for donors who give through multiple profiles (i.e. household profile, a family foundation, a trust, or a DAF at another institution.) These donations are linked the household as "donor advisor" and the profiles are linked, but I am unable to run reports (custom or preset) that produce accurate totals of donations or the count of donor where the activity for one of these multisource donors is combined as one. Ideally there would be a way to create a "master donor" profile that links all of the related profiles…

P.S. Have you looked at the Donor Rollup Report? You can add filters to this report if needed.

donor records search
When searching for a donor profile, I encounter (in the dropdown) entries from the legal name field, first and last name fields, and household name field. Without some additional description (ie profile number or descriptive acronym, such as "HH" for household), I end up clicking on each instance of someone's name, just to be sure I'm not looking at a duplicate record. Also, why is the one fund listed twice in this search?

I noticed when you edit a profile, there is an additional box in the address section under City. What is this for?

import profiles
When importing donations or profiles, the prefix field is problematic. If I have Mary Smith and 123 Main Street, and C-Suite has Ms. Mary Smith at 123 Main Street, it doesn't register that those two are the same and add the donation to that profile. Same with households.

Profile Type fields with logic
Would be great to only see the fields you need for the type of profile you are entering. All the tax #'s website, etc fields would never be used for an individual. What if we chose the type first and then we just get the necessary fields? Would be so much easier on the eyes and stress of mis-entering.

donor address and profile address
When a donor has a change of address, there should be a way to make sure that it is changed everywhere it appears. Currently, the donation address stays in the system and the system will occasionally pull that incorrect address when we are pulling data for a mailing to donors. There is no value to having an old primary address associated with a donor's current profile. It's crazy to not know where to pull for a simple mailing - we should not have to think about it.

Would it be possible to see (with links to profiles) the more recent profiles opened? Like the most recent 10-20?

Duplicate phone number clean up in Profiles - don't include fax numbers
Why is it the "work" number doesn't come up in the duplicate clean up area but "fax" numbers do? These are generally work fax numbers as well and it creates alot of unnecessary review in the duplicate area.

update other profiles?
If you are updating or entering an Address Type on a record, the popup to apply the update to other addresses appears. You check the other addresses, select "Update Checked Items" and the page refreshes. But the other profile Address Types are NOT updated.
Include Address Type for updating or have a response from the system that it isn't included in the update other profiles batch.

Birthdates in profiles require a year
Please allow Birthdates in profiles to allow just month and day and not require a year. We do not know the age our our donors in most cases, but it is nice to remember the birthday

Additional profile field, for prospecting info
We would like to be able to add prospecting information to a profile. We thought at first a place for Wealth Engine screenings would be helpful. But we may use a different prospecting tool as our source for such information in the future, so a little flexibility would be ideal.
What we would like to request is one more PROFILE FIELD for this purpose. We would like it to be a drop-down field whose choices we can customize.
