  1. When completing a task, add option to add a follow-up task
    When completing a task, it would be nice to have an option to add a follow-up task. When any of our staff I've assigned a task to, completes a task it would be nice for them to see an option to add the next follow-up task to ensure this occurs. Otherwise if they don't, I need to re-review their portfolios and make sure there is a follow-up occurring as needed. Especially with Stewardship follow-ups.

  2. In place of being able to embed donation portals on webpages, it would be great to be able to edit the fund url's so that they are more friendly for donors and reflect the fund name or something we can customize. Instead of create/fund?funit_id=xxxx, it would be wonderful to show something like /donate/EveryStudentSucceeds.

  3. Please stop adjusting the form/appearance of the modules in cSuite. You are making it more complex with more clicks and issues finding information. There is so much functionality we need that has no impact on how something looks. cSuite is making the appearance more complex but not focusing on the functionality issues we have and need adjusted to function with less barriers. Where is the gift adjustment without unreconciling? Why do idea lab ideas get 'implemented' when they clearly are not functioning in the way the poster intended?     While it is very difficult for us to hear that you are no longer satisfied with our product it is necessary to take your valid criticism to heart so we can keep improving, and for that we thank you.


    We do want to assure you that each change is based on the future state of our product and client feedback.  As  additional fields and functionality are added, we do our best to organize the fields for easy consumption and with that has come change to our fund and profile areas.  We continue to strive to improve the lives of our clients by offering a very robust system.  After all, loyal clients such as yourself are the backbone of our company – we never forget that.

  4. When printing bulk year-end receipts, the Total of gift receipt amount is generated and added to the receipt although the receipt letter has an extra $ above the $ with the total gift amount. Small thing but it looks like a mistake when we send this to donors. And also add, to gift Total with no cents, .00. Right now it just prints gift amount without decimals if it is an even amount.

Currently when a profile is marked as deceased, this does not show up on the profiles and funds that have been linked to that profile so without clicking into the profile there is not an easy way to know that the profile is marked as deceased. Would really like to show "deceased" next to the profile name on the profiles and funds linked to the deceased profile.

  6. We like having the option to have more text in the long description for grant catalog requests, but sometimes this leads to very lengthy descriptions (more than our donors likely want to view as they scroll through the catalog). It would be great if we had the ability to set a character limit.

  7. When using the bulk email feature to send grant letters, the payee email address does not automatically populate - instead it defaults to the primary email address. This is problematic because the payee email is the one that needs to receive the notification.

    Manually changing each individual email address is extremely time consuming, given our high volume of 50-100 grants per week. I suggest updating the bulk email tool so that it pulls the payee email address by default, rather than or in addition to the primary email. Automating this would save our team substantial time and effort each week…

  8. Please bring back the notification on the tributes tab that used to be there, similar to the tax receipts tab. This WHOLE TIME I thought we hadn't been receiving any tributes when in fact we have but we weren't notified because that feature was taken off for whatever reason. I don't know why something like that would ever be removed, especially if it was a helpful feature that we were already used to. Changes like these are making our jobs a lot harder. You should be mindful of what's actually helpful for the user experience.

  9. Our "New" donations are automatically going to the "Receipt" bucket without passing through the "Posted" bucket for approval. This is problematic, as there can now be receipts going out with donations that have not been through the approval process yet.

  10. The log previously provided more detail on what was actually changed. Now in some areas, it's just showing the CSuite reference ID for the field that was changed. This is extremely confusing to follow as sometimes it's not anywhere else in the system. For example, instead of showing the phone number and address in the log that was added or removed, it just has the field reference ID. And I can't tell which phone number or address was updated based on it. Additionally, I just changed the subgroup on a fund, and instead of it saying the name of the…

  11. In the current Sell process of Public Securities, the information is entered and once Save is hit, the entry posts. There is no opportunity to double check outside of the transaction entry screen. As in other areas of Csuite and for consistency throughout the program, the process should initially create the unposted entry, provide a screen to review & double check the unposted transaction and then select Post on the left menu.

  12. Our system at our CF is for our Director of Finance and Operations to review all gifts after they are entered but before they are posted to ensure accuracy and correct entry. It would be helpful if there was a way to have a more thorough filter to post only gifts that have been selected as 'reviewed'. That way, you can more efficiently post bulk amounts of gifts that have been reviewed at once, rather than trying to remember what gifts have been reviewed or clicking into each one to know if they're ready to post.

  13. We need to be able to see the StripeIntent field to allow for manual inspection and verification of a successful payment in the Payment Processors tab for Stipe.

    We've had a handful of donations that didn't go through, however, the list we see gives no indication of which ones were successful and which ones had a "Bad_Request".

    It would be most helpful if the information showing whether a payment was successful was client facing so we can see it.

  14. Unfortunately I don't believe this is a new idea, but the past ideas that were similar were archived so I'm taking another stab at submitting this idea.

    In instances where the Primary address of a donor is marked as inactive, I would like tax receipts not to generate to mail to those locations as it is wasting postage and time.

    I chatted with help today and they suggested marking those receipts as already sent, but that would mean having to click into every profile to see if their address is active then going through the list of donations to mark…

  15. Up until very recently (3/2024) we could create and update a fund advisor record to NOT have the login field populated when we were creating/editing fund advisor records that do not access the portal (email/paper). Now that we are forced to populate this field it has destroyed our process for creating/monitoring fund advisor records. Please only make that field required IF the record is ONLINE.

  16. We should be able to provide a link to give directly to a fund, even if it is marked private. This would allow people who have the direct link to give to the fund, but it wouldn't show up in the list of funds or be searchable. Sometimes people don't want it public, but have a few family/friends they would like to be able to support a fund. It would be particularly helpful in memorial situations.

  17. Allow the ability to move a Note from one profile to another or from a fund to a profile or opportunity. Currently having to copy and paste, delete and create a Note, is tedious and this functionality is often needed.

  19. Allow the fund name to be deleted from a Note when editing a Note. Currently, we have to delete the entire Note and re-add the Note without the fund name so that Note doesn't appear in the Fund's Notes tab.

  20. It would be helpful to be able to link a fund to another fund with a relationship category....as such is done with Profiles. For example, a fund closes (perhaps because of the donor's passing) and it creates a new fund (often an Unrestricted fund). Having the original fund (albeit closed) linked to the new fund with a category such as "funding source" would be useful in tracking the fund history.

    There are other situations where a fund may regularly feed money into another fund. Again, having the funds linked would help tracking and understanding how multiple funds may be connected.
