grant request notification - more info
I like the 5/28 addition of the grant request notification to include the grantee name and grant amount. Could this be expanded to also include the fund name and any notes? That would be a huge time saver!

Multifund grant filter
It would be beneficial to be able to filter on custom reports or in the grant buckets whether or not a grant is multifund. Currently only available in Home > Grants > Reports.

Rename "Sponsored Org"
We have been instructed by Foundant's support team to populate the "Sponsored Org" field on grants with the Sponsoring Org. Can this field be renamed to "Fiscal Sponsor" so that it aligns with how it is intended to be used. This would also require "Sponsor", which appears on grant reports, to be renamed to "Sponsored Org". If that cannot be implemented across CSuite due to other clients using these fields as they are named, can we be given the ability to rename these fields within our specific CSuite site?

anonymous grant record details from portal
When a grant request is submitted through the portal and requested to be anonymous, the record that it was requested to be anonymous should carry through all stages of the grant. Currently, the grant requests in the portal tab show whether the grant is anonymous, but once the grant is created, the Online Grant Request details do not show whether or not the grant was anonymous. It would be helpful to have this here for easy reference, especially for funds that do not always send grants anonymously.

copying a grant
Many donors recommend the same grants from their DAFs every year. I'd like to be able to copy grants that have been made before and have the custom fields carry over into the new copied grant instead of having to fill them all out again.

grant minimums by fund group
We would love to have a minimum grant request option for the portal but its done by fund groups. For example: DAF's minimum grant is $500 but maybe and Org Endowed is $100. We adopted a policy that requires all DAF grants to be over $500. However, if we set that as the grant request minimum for the portal it will cause issues for some of our small organizational endowed funds who maybe don't have $500 in ATS in any given year.

List Cart Emails
Love the new option to send emails to fundholders who still have grants left in their cart. Currently the only option is to send emails to all fundholders on list. Is there a way to select individual donors who would be receiving the email?

Copy Grants
When I copy it comes up with the old grant date and the old pay schedule date. It should copy to current dates as well as the advisor, the expense account, custom fields, etc. Basically, if I am copying a grant, my goal is to not have to do much editing, if any at all.

Public Name for Internal Grant Funds
It would be great to have the option to include the public name of the receiving fund for internal grant records. Right now this option only seems to exist for the originating fund. Since many of our Funds have a public name, right now when we create our fund records for example, they are showing the internal name of our Funds like Operating Fund, rather than the public name, CNYCF Community Fund.

Grant Refund - Payment Type
When depositing a returned grant, the only payment type is check. We most often get returned grants electronically and therefore, the payment type is incorrect.

Grant document attachment: Option to set to no grant document by fund or fund group
I would love to be able to set a default "no grant document" by fund or fund type and then have a choice at grant letter to turn off the letter like we can for award letter. It is tedious to find and delete attached grant letters to grants that do not require letters. In our case, we do not send letters with grants that come in from GLM. I understand I can turn it off by check batch, but that means I need to sort out which grants are which at the time of the check run each time…

payment date
When importing grants you currently can not import into the payment date field. I would like this field to be added as an import option. If we want to book a years worth of grants when the request is received but schedule grants to go out each month, we now need to manually change the payment date for each grant. This is very tedious and would be great if we could just schedule the grant date and payment date in the import template.

Grantee Report by year
Want to be able to pull up a fund or multiple funds grantee history, and have it show the years along the top, with grantees along the side and each grant made to that grantee under its year made without doing a pivot table from the data. See attached example.

Automatically Populate Grantee Contact on Internal Grants
Automatically Populate Grantee Contact on Internal Grants:
It would be great if the grantee contact field would automatically populate with the primary fund advisor on the recipient fund for internal grants and/or we could have a drop down menu with fund advisors to pick from, as opposed to having to manually enter the grantee contact via profile ID each time.
This already happens for external grants-- so it would great to have the same functionality for internal grants.
Thanks! -TCF

grant to spendable
It would be very helpful to have the option to post internal grants to receiving fund spendable during grant entry. As it is now, we have to post the internal grant, then click on the Donation ID, then click on Apply to Spendable [change].

Bulk Upload Ids for grant records
We love the bulk update functions in custom reports for grants. It would be incredibly helpful to have the option to bulk upload IDs and then gain access to the bulk options for grants.
For example, we are tracking grants for Hurricane Helene, which requires pulling reports and sorting in excel. It would be worlds more efficient if we could bulk upload grant IDs to mark the custom fields on these grants at once (vs. going one at a time, incredibly time consuming during a challenging time in our state).

Custom Grant Fields available in portal
We have a custom field for grants that would be very helpful if it was available in the grant requests on the portal. We are implementing a work around with using the summary and a bulk action in reports but the availability of the custom field in the portal would be much easier.

Pending Grants in the "New" bucket
Pending Grants in the "New" bucket entered by an internal user are visible on the fund advisor portal. These amounts are still in draft form and have not been posted or approved. It would prevent issues if there was a separate tab for grants entered by internal users or when entering a grant to list the external users who will be able to see it or even a "publish to the portal" option for unposted grants.

Allow Foundation staff to hide an ACTIVE organization in the donor portal.
In CSuite: Allow Foundation staff to HIDE organizations from donors in the portal. (Eg: The Ohio State University – Scholarships)
* Allows Scholarship orgs to be ACTIVE, and allows them to be paid directly from CSuite without going into SLM
* Reduces the possibility that a donor will send a check to the Bursar.
*Offers Foundation's the option to manage unsuitable nonprofit organizations, while investigating concerns.
*Marking the grantee INACTIVE is NOT manageable in our workflow.

Customize Columns within Grantee's Record
Within a grantee record have the ability to customize the fields being populated. Currently they are: ID, Grant Date, Fund, Status, Amount, Sponsored Org, Beneficiary, Description.
We use grant programs and it would be helpful to identify at a glance what grant program the grant came from. See example below, we rarely use Sponsored Org or Beneficiary. It would excellent to have the ability to customize these columns.3 votes
