  2. Currently, it is only possible to add 1 tribute per donation in Community Suite. Is there a way to add the ability to apply multiple tributes? And have them pulled into the acknowledgement letter template?

  3. The new zip code feature is not efficient. The auto-fill feature of the zip code was helpful. Now it is gone. This means, the problem for a few is now the problem for all. In that I now have to take time to enter the citystatezip for all profiles. How about, let's keep the autofill zip code feature and provide the option to change the citystate from that same window. That would be helpful.

  4. I'd really like to add a field to the tribute section of a donation that could contain a comment that would then be available for the tribute letter templates. Honor tributes are often made for a special occasion and donors of memorial tributes sometimes add sentiments with their gifts that are nice to share with the family. It would save a lot of time to be able to add these tribute phrases directly into a donation record and have them automatically added to the letters.

  5. It would be nice if recurring donors could login or follow a link in their monthly receipt email that would allow them to edit or cancel their recurring donations instead of having to call our office to make any changes or stop their donations.

  6. The new font is still ******* the eyes when you are in CS for hours a day. The color is okay, but the font itself is hard to look at. And the font used for numbers should be updated to have the same size field for each digit. It is deceiving to look at a list of numbers and not see which one is the largest because all the numbers are not the same size.

  8. Donor is misspelled as "doner" throughout. I most recently encountered it today when pulling a Donor Report into Excel and the header of one columns said "doner_ID" - please search and destroy these mistakes. MANY thanks.

  9. It would be very helpful if simple formula calculation fields could be available in custom reports. For example, when creating a fund report with current fund balance and spendable balance fields included, the ability to add a field that would calculate % of spendable balance to total fund balance for each fund included in the report.

  11. It would be great if we could have a function called 'Tag to Close Fund' that allows you to tag any fund that needs to be closed and then can be assigned to someone through a task or something comparable.

  13. It would be helpful to have the Bank Rec report pop up immediately upon reconciliation, rather than have to go back into the history report to print. I have never seen a system that did not do that. Also, we should be able to print a rec for a month in which there was no activity, to still show proper balances for current months.

    • (02-13-2025) Bank Reconcile - Settings: Add a new setting "Enable Bank Reconcile Approval". Enabling this setting will add a new column to the Bank Reconcile list of accounts titled Approved By. This will allow a user (with display and list permissions to Bank Reconcile) the option to approve the reconciliation. The user that approves the bank reconciliation must be different from the user that reconciled the account. If the account is unreconciled, the approval will be removed. Two additional columns, reconciled by and approved by, were added to the bank reconcile page. These columns will be populated by the user that reconciled and approved the reconciliation from this point forward. Historical reconciliations will display Foundant Technologies in the Reconciled By column.

  14. Thank you for recently adding a code so that we can insert the name of a fund's investment strategy on the Fund Statement.

    We would love this to be expanded a bit... could you also develop a way for us to display a CHART showing the underlying percentage by account, making up that investment strategy?

    Probably like a lot of other Community Foundations, we have 4 investment pools. Each "investment strategy" is defined as whatever percentage a fund has invested in each of the 4 available pools.

  15. It would be great to have a way to view the architecture of a campaign after it's been created. For example, to be able to view the filters and steps taken to add profiles to a campaign in the system would negate a shadow system and allow ease of removing profiles as well.

  16. It would be useful to have a field at the fund level where the recognition name (if different from the fund or advisor name) could be set up. This field would need to be able to be merged into grant transmittal letters and report-able in custom reports. This would allow more flexibility in recognizing fundholders who submit grants through the portal, as well as for the Foundation's fund listings.

    For example, if Jane Smith submits a grant online from the Smith Family Fund, the grant letter can be set up to list Jane and John Smith as the donors if…

  17. In order to have a second person double check deposits made are entered correctly, it would be excellent to be able to print a report that lists out all information for a specific till #. (ALL INFO for a donation donor name, donor address, account it went into, donation total)

    Currently the till print out is OK, as it gives an ID number, and we can navigate in the system to find the transactions - but it would be 10x easier if we had a print out to check against!

  18. Please stop adjusting the form/appearance of the modules in cSuite. You are making it more complex with more clicks and issues finding information. There is so much functionality we need that has no impact on how something looks. cSuite is making the appearance more complex but not focusing on the functionality issues we have and need adjusted to function with less barriers. Where is the gift adjustment without unreconciling? Why do idea lab ideas get 'implemented' when they clearly are not functioning in the way the poster intended?     While it is very difficult for us to hear that you are no longer satisfied with our product it is necessary to take your valid criticism to heart so we can keep improving, and for that we thank you.


    We do want to assure you that each change is based on the future state of our product and client feedback.  As  additional fields and functionality are added, we do our best to organize the fields for easy consumption and with that has come change to our fund and profile areas.  We continue to strive to improve the lives of our clients by offering a very robust system.  After all, loyal clients such as yourself are the backbone of our company – we never forget that.

  19. Can we have the feature back where you enter a zip code and the system auto populates the city? This has been proposed in the past and the idea was archived. It was extremely useful when we first started with Community Suite and we were disappointed when it changed.

  20. For Donations --> I would like to see a feature similar to Grants > Request Notify where automatic emails are sent to staff/CSuite Users when donations are posted. This would instantly alert my philanthropy team when gifts come in. I know this functionality exists for fund advisors but I'd also like to see it available for staff. Thank you!
