  2. On the Fund Advisor Portal, if you show history on a fund, you see a date filter that allows someone to choose a date range that is prior to the look back date. But when you click on a date prior to the lookback date, no data is displayed even if there is data for the fund. We think that will create confusion for our fund holders, so we are not showing history on all of our funds for this reason.

    Is there a way for you guys to limit those date options based on the LookBack Dates? Seems like…

  4. It would be great if the "List " option when you're in a fund profile could be set to show ONLY open funds. Instead, it shows all funds, even the many that have been closed over the years. I would assume most staff using CSuite for day-to-day tasks would utilize the "open" fund list more than the full list!

  5. General Ledger Report

    I just completed my first audit using CSuite. My auditors missed having a GL report that listed all transactions by account with a beginning balance and total for each account, with the overall GL total at the end of the report.

    To do this in CSuite, I had to run a GL report for each account as running the GL report for the entire FY did not have a beginning balance - even though it could be sorted by account and formulas added for account sub-totals once exported into Excel.

  6. For an event on the Giving Hub, when you select a specific ticket to purchase and the ticket details appear, it seems odd that the "ticket header" would appear ABOVE the name of the event.

    Is there an option to display the "ticket header" content BELOW the Ticket Name?

  7. Since we need to collect all student's personal information to report to the Canada Revenue Agency every year, currently, we must manually enter each student's SSN to their CSuite profile. In our process, we ask for a student's SSN and direct-deposit information on a follow-up form that must be completed after they have been selected to receive funding. It would be great to have a function that can import this information from the SLM follow-up form to their CSuite profile.

  8. We would like to ensure that anonymous profiles/donors are anonymous throughout the system. Basically their information would be masked (similar to the SIN numbers in Foundant) and only those individuals with access can un-mask the information like names, emails, etc. Otherwise it would just show as anonymous with their address.

    This would help to ensure anonymous donors remain anonymous, as it would limit the information throughout the organization as well. We have many staff that need access to Csuite for campaigns and events, but are contract staff and students. We are trying to limit the access to temporary staff to…

  9. Scheduled reports: Would be nice to be able to add text to the body of the email when scheduling reports for distribution. This would allow for addition information to the recipient on purpose and/or use of the report data. Particularly useful when sending data in CSV format where that data is intended for use in a subsequent process.

  10. Improved Search Capabilities: There needs to be a way to search for profiles even if you don't have (or know how to spell) the whole name. If someone's name is "John Smithe" but you think it's "John Smith" and you type "Smith, John" in the search bar, the profile you're looking for will not populate. If the search function could pull names that start with the letters up to the comma, the searcher could find John Smithe, John Smitherman, and John Smith-Stone.

  11. Both of our audit group users - who only access the system for a few months annually - couldn't remember their passwords to log into CSuite. Unlike Fund Advisors, there is no "Send Login Email" in the left margin of the User tab of a profile. Since there were no instructions on any Foundant Help webpage or in Compass, the only work-around I could figure out was to "login as" each of them, send them their home screen once I assigned a temporary password.

    The process for sending a User a new link to login should be much easier. Support…

  12. Need the ability to update split interest values at the end of the year. Would currently have to write adjusting entries for their over 600 CGAs and CRTs, which is not a feasible solution.

  13. Our "New" donations are automatically going to the "Receipt" bucket without passing through the "Posted" bucket for approval. This is problematic, as there can now be receipts going out with donations that have not been through the approval process yet.

    Thanks for this feedback, but it is not a bug. Donations have always populated the receipt bucket regardless of posted/approval status. If you feel strongly that you don't like this workflow, I would suggest adding another idea to add an option for this.

  14. It feels like it should be an option to archive reports that may need to be used in the future but not at this moment.

    We have noticed since you are unable to write over reports not made by you and there isn't a permission to change that, we're saving similar reports over and over. Whereas if we could archive similar reporting, we might be able to keep the Custom Reports clean and still manage information needed in the future.

  15. Add field 'Sort Key' on Profiles. There isn't currently one field where all types of profiles- Organizations, Individuals, and Households, can be sorted together.

  16. Could you all add a report pickup location within the system for scheduled reports to be run and then downloaded from within the system? Currently, scheduled reports only have an email option which raises security concerns for donor or financial information being sent unencrypted over email to users.

    Ideas could include putting a time line for expiration for scheduled report downloads (i.e., they are only saved in the pickup location for 24 hours) to prevent clutter.

  17. Currently, the Grants tab (showing a profile's grant history) is on the Donor designation profile but it needs to be moved to the Fund Advisor designation. Two reasons: 1) There are grant advisors that are not donors and 2) only data related to Donations should be on the Donor designation if we want to use Is Donor filtering to define actual Donors. If grant history "turns on" the Donor designation but that profile doesn't actually have any donations, then it completely negates the use of the Donor designation to define actual Donors.

  18. In addition to verifying a grantee is a valid 501(c)3, Catholic Foundations have to confirm that the organization they are granting to is verified with the Official Catholic Directory to ensure they don't support anything that is not in alignment with the Catholic Church's standards. Stellar has an integration with OFD, so information flows into grantee profiles form OCD.

  19. Please can you consider adding a financials tab to organisation profiles where we can upload relevant information such as revenue, expenses, net income, assets, liabilities, net assets for an organisation. And if we could add/filter by financial year, that would be super.
