Multiple stock donations in one letter
We enter the sale proceeds for stock donations and do not use the lookup feature. Each stock donated is entered separately with the number of shares and stock name/symbol in the description line. When it's time to do the donation letter, we have to manually do them if there is more than one stock donation as there is currently no way to combine them into one letter.
It would be so helpful to be able to generate the letter from CSuite for multiple stock donations from one party.

Donations from 3rd Party Platforms
It would be great to link other profiles to donations, so that we can send thank you letters to the original donor. For example, booking a donation from the United Way where John Smith was the original donor. It would be helpful to link John Smith's profile (to the UW donation page), so the thank you letter can go to him, instead of to the United Way. This would be specifically helpful for incoming donations from all 3rd party platforms.

Donations > Email Users/Staff when donations are posted
For Donations --> I would like to see a feature similar to Grants > Request Notify where automatic emails are sent to staff/CSuite Users when donations are posted. This would instantly alert my philanthropy team when gifts come in. I know this functionality exists for fund advisors but I'd also like to see it available for staff. Thank you!

Allow Donation Note/Label fields to be customized by portal. As a supporting organization, we may want to prompt donors to tell us something additional that is more specific to our work. For example, "If you are an alumnus/a of XXXXX school district, please tell us our class year and the schools you attended."

Posted online donation attached to a specific campaign (Annual Appeal)

Amazingly, all the online donations are posted automatically in the donation tab.
It would be nice if we could attach a couple of funds to the annual appeal campaign. This attachment can be blank or a different annual appeal campaign, Fall Annual Appeal, Spring Appeal, Challenge Appeal, etc... This feature will help us to compare a couple of years of giving for the same appeal, where we are comparing to last year, and how far from the goal. On the main donation screen for internal grants, show the fund name the grant is coming from.
On the main donation screen for an internal grant, either expand the Donor field to show the Foundation and internal fund name that's to the right of the 'dash' or add a column 'From grant fund name'.

Correct Error Message on Tribute Address Entry on Donation Portal
On the Donation Portal, when a donor selects to add a Tribute Name and mailing address, if they enter the full state name in the address, the site responds with the following error message "Address validation error, ARIZONA is not valid"
It is not obvious to all donors that they need to change the state name to the state abbreviation. Please correct the error message so that it lets the donor know what they need to change.

Add multiple advisors on donations
Instead of only being able to add one advisor per donation, it would be great if we could add multiple advisors to one donation so that when we pull the "tax receipts" we can notify multiple people if the situation calls for it.

Configurable Grant Catalog Shopping Cart Expiration Date
For our giving day or other special fundraising events that are run through the Grant Catalog, we would like to be able to allow donors to do research & fill their cart with all of their planned donations, but then hold it for the future, so on the date of the even they can just hit "submit."

Tax Receipt Language
On each donation for the tax receipt it would be easier to understand if the language changed to have [yes] [no] [not needed] as click options instead of no to not needed. It makes it confusing when a tax receipt is actually sent to the donors because now it is reading not needed.

I need an easy, canned report that will automate and update a donor retention percentage. I'd also like to see if customizable by fund or fund group.

Donation Choose Profile Search - by email?
LOVE the new profile search options call outs. Would it be possible to get that same option (or at least search by email) added to donation creation? An email address is often easier for me than searching through fifteen John Smith possibilities and would help me ensure correct attribution.

Fund Advisors Should Be Able to See Total Amount of a Contribution, Minus Fees, on the Portal
It would be great if the Fund Advisors, when logging into the portal, could see the total amount of their contributions, minus any fees (credit card fees, etc.). As it is now, they can only see the original amount of the contribution and have to estimate what their fund actually received.

Tax receipt number for yearly receipt
Please integrate a yearly consolidated tax receipt including a single tax receipt number to comply with Canadian law. E.G. Donor gifts once per month and instead of having twelve receipts at year-end is provided a single tax receipt with a single tax receipt number itemizing all donations made throughout the year.

Recurring donor acknowledgements
Would love to be able to have a special acknowledgement letter template for recurring donors. Donors who are willing to make gifts every month should not be receiving the same acknowledgement every month - or the same one as one-time donors. Each email or letter is the opportunity to build a relationship and tell them what happened in the last month.

Separate regular donations from donor advised donations on the canned Donor Report
You recently implemented the ability to rollup households on the Donations > Donor Report. This was a good change that helps a lot.
One thing that we noticed is that the count of donations includes donor advised amounts. We use the report to create a subset of donors that we want to generate a yearly tax receipt for.We had a donor listed on the report however their donations were all donor advised amounts and when we went to print their yearly tax receipt, it tells us that they have no donations to print a summary for 2022.

Add CC Function to Tax Receipts
It would be nice to have the ability to CC a third party (not the donor or donation advisor) on tax receipts created from donations. When we used FIMS, our organization used the CC function to send letters to beneficiary organizations when a donation was made to an endowment fund that benefited them. The CC field in FIMS pulled in the CC'd profile's name, address, etc. so that we could create a personalized CC letter in our acknowledgement templates.
