  1. It would be nice in grant letters to have an option to use the Household mailing label name. In our grant letters we like to include "if you would like to say thank you" section so the grantee can directly thank the fundholders. However, I have two individuals in a household that both want their own access to the fund advisor portal, when they individually submit a grant request it appears the only field available for the grant template will be that individual advisor name. However, it should be the entire household that is thanked, not just the one individual…

  2. Hello!

    I know that you can create a recurring grant in CSuite and be able to add specific dollar amounts to the beneficiary. However, we process our grants through the GLM and then sync to CSuite. We want to be able to use the beneficiary field to indicate what static disbursements occur. Sometimes this is a blend of percentage and fixed amounts. Being able to have a blend of percentages and fixed amounts would be ideal.

  3. How pending Internal Transfer grants are displayed on the destination funds portal is misleading. They appear to be complete but are not included in the balance above. Please add “pending” label to future grants under “recent contributions” on the grantees’ fund holder portal so that it is clear on both the destination and source fund portals.

  4. The Fund Summary Report would be more useful if filtering of "Donation Types" was allowed. We use "Donation Types" for more than just true contributions (because we do not wish to use "payments" for recording non-gifts due to control concerns), so it would be nice to be able to select (using checkboxes) which Donation Types to include. Also, it would be nice to be able to filter out internal grants altogether, rather than showing as a separate item in the charts but including in the summary report.

  6. I would like to see the capability to add the name of the office or department on an organization's profile for mailing and sending checks purposes. Right now, we have either manipulate the address 1 and address 2 fields or the contact title. This doesn't always work though because we have the highest position on the organization's profile, but often times that is not the contact person and/or position that it should be sent to.   7. Please make a system toggle to turn off the reo-ccuring grant option for the fund holder portal - the tracking for this is super cumbersome and its awkward when we have to tell a donor that we don't have the capacity to track this. Much appreciated.

  8. Within a Fund have a box list (similar to Fund Profiles) in the white space on the right to house the past 6 grants, include the GranteeID, Grantee and Amount. Making the GranteeID a clickable link to expand on the grant for more information. Instead of having to run a grant report according to years or quarters.

We need to be able to see trends in giving and grant making over a given number of years and would like to be able to compare donations/grants for a given month, quarter or year compared to the same month/quarter/year for past # years. (Compare April 2020 to April 2019, 2018, 2017 etc or 4th qtr 2020 to previous 5 years etc. for both donations and grants with ability to breakdown by gift/grant type. (Exporting all gifts and grants to an excel worksheet and manually extracting this info is not a great solution and prone to error and running separate…

  10. Right now we are using the fund summary field to capture static internal information on the fund we need on a regular basis for grant administration. The purpose of the fund, processes related to that specific fund, whether annual fund letters are sent out etc.

    We want to eventually begin using the grant catalog and providing an option to promote the fund. But, this means that the internal info we have summarized on each fund would have to moved to a different field (Likely a note).

  12. When you run a grant history report the default setting is that the report is oldest to newest. It would be nice if either you could change the default or choose the sort order. Typically the oldest grants are closed, and I'm working on the newest grants. It's very rarely that I want grants sorted from oldest to newest.

  13. We would like to have a section for personal interests that acts similar to grant type interests. This would allow us to have a better idea of how to converse and interact with donors. (Ex. If a donor is tagged with the "baseball" interest, we could take them to a game). It makes it easier for us to track personal interests without flooding the notes and grant types section of C-Suite.

  14. It would be swell if we could run a report that summarizes the detail in the amount of a calculated balance swap. Swaps that occur to or from our Operating fund are always a funky amount, and I understand that it's a mix of payables, grants, fees, etc. but it would be great if we could get a report (or see a screen) that summarizes all the transactions that constitute that swap amount.

When grants are awarded in one year but are returned in the next year, it would be nice to have the ability to put these funds into an "other revenue" account rather than reducing the current year grants. We are running into this issue due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Grants were awarded last year that were to be used for programs during the Spring of 2020. Since some programs have been cancelled we are receiving the grant back. We don't want to reduce our current year grants by these returns.

  17. I have about 20 grants that I cannot update the COVID coding in CS after it has been synced to GLM. The need for this is for grants done in the beginning where the coding was still a new thing. I really would like to be able to update the coding in CS so that it matches what is in GLM.I get a red error message if I try to do this. Thanks very much!

  18. When creating a grant the expense account field is not searchable, meaning that I cannot start typing the account number or name to have the drop down list shortened. Many other parts of the system have this function but not this page (fcsuite.com/erp/grant/create?profile_id=####)

  20. This idea would do well for both the Grants Catalog and the Donate to a Fund. On the main page with the list of funds and list of grants, it would be good to only allow 200 characters to show - to shorten the list. But then, when a donor clicks on the Fund to donate or clicks on the grant to donate, the fund page or grant page would show the rest of the information about the fund or the program in the grant catalog.
