  1. When a Grant Request submitted online through the Fund Advisor Portal, we require two signatures from the organization submitting the grant request. Similar to the grant approval process in C-Suite, currently the fund advisor portal does not have a dual authorization process which causes us to reach out via phone/email for a second approval.

  2. It would be great to have a field on the grant request section of the advisor portal that is fully customizable and that you have to check if you want that particular advisor to see it on their page.

    For example, we have a number of funds that receive a company match for grants they request. If I could add a note on their portal about the match that would be great. But I would want the option to check a box to have that displayed on certain advisors so it's not listed on all.

  3. I was just recently on a Fidelity site and saw a couple of cool options for on-demand service for fund advisors. A mobile-friendly option where grants can be made via a mobile device and the option to name a successor via their portal. Re the successor - would likely have to give us flexibility in language used and somehow capture signature or consent or something, but interesting idea ...

  4. It would be great if there were a box we can add to each Grant Recommendation from Donor Portal for our Fund Advisors to add a grant amount to support our own operations. Back in the day when we had paper forms, this generated a significant level of support to us.

  5. We have several agency fund advisors that advise 10+ funds. They have expressed a need to be able to see all all donations and grants to their funds at once, rather than having to click through them one by one.

  6. In an effort to avoid any misunderstanding, when a fund advisor logs onto his/her donor ortal to make a grant recommendation, we are suggesting that the field "Description" be changed to read "Grant Description/Notes to Grantee Recipient"

    Change "Additional Notes to "Additional Notes to [Name of Community Foundation] Staff"

    Replace "Add to Cart" with "Submit Recommendation"

  7. For endowments with multiple beneficiary organizations, a fund advisor for an organization should see only the spendable balance on the portal linked to the percentage defined by the Fund Beneficiary Grantee/Fund information (which needs revised to allow for a fixed dollar value or percentage). Likewise, an advisor should only view grants issues to his/her linked organization. This preserves confidentiality among organizations and advisors.

    Also, Permissions should be made by Profile Fund Category so we can efficiently assign view-only or all-access for each tab on the portal.

  8. There is such great information for Agency funds in the fund portal! To be able to click on a donor and show total contributions to a fund by that donor is amazing! It would be even better if there were a total on that page, similar to the total at the top of the "grants" tab page.

  9. Please allow us to edit the grant notification email that goes out to fund advisors with a custom message. The message is very terse/unfriendly and, for us, the details of the message are actually incorrect. Most all other such messages allow customization.

  10. Would like fund advisors to have the ability to click on the spendable balance and see what transactions got them to that balance, like what staff can see if they click on the spendable balance within the fund record.

  11. It would be nice to be able to mark a fund advisor anonymous. There are great CSuite tools for anonymous profile, donor and fund name, but not for the fund advisor that advises a fund. For example, if I create a new grant and add the fund, the grant advisor will auto populate the fund advisor. But if they want to be anonymous, I have to remember to delete them (or move the field to the empty box).

  14. I wish it were possible to make a grantee inactive for a specific fund without marking the entire vendor profile "inactive." This would help a fund advisor choose the correct grantee in the online portal and minimize our admin work if a grant is paid to an incorrect grantee.

    Example: ABC Fund has two grantees: NGO1 and NGO2. Although NGO1 received grants in the past, all grants should now be made payable to NGO2.

    I would like to flag NGO1 as an inactive grantee for the ABC Fund only since it could still receive grants from other funds. Doing so…

  15. It would be awesome if there were reciprocal links in GLM and CSuite for those who are fund advisors and also use GLM for grant submissions. I just received multiple emails from a fund advisor who could not find the fund statement tab as she was logged into GLM. There is no way to jump back and forth. I had emailed her screenshots of the fund advisor portal and where the fund statements were located and it wasn't until then that she told me she wasn't seeing any of that as she was in the GLM side.

  16. some of our fund advisors need to put in a few notes when they manually enter a grant. One would be for the ein number field which is what we use the notes section for now. Then they may have notes on where to mail the check which is another notes section. Could we add another notes section option.

  17. It would be helpful to allow for Subfunds to be included on the Financials tab in the portal for fund advisors. We can do it on our end but there are no options for this on the financial tab in the portal. So we have to run the report internally and email it to the fund advisor each month. Otherwise - he has to go into each subfund one at a time to run financials. In this case, we have 10 subfunds that we're wanting on one report.

  18. Is there any way to add a check box a fund advisor can select if they want a grant delivered to them vs. going to the grantee? If the box is checked, they would also have the ability to enter a mailing address.

    They can certainly add something to this effect in the notes/description section but it would be helpful if something was already there to indicate they have this option.

We often have times when a grantee will reach out to the CF asking for donor contact information (either mailing address, email, etc) so that the grantee can thank the advisor who recommended the grant. It has always been our policy that we do not share donor contact info. Is there a way to add a question to the Grant Recommendation Tab when an advisor is completing a grant request asking if we are allowed to share donor contact info with a grantee if ask? For example:

  20. Need the ability to hide the "Percentage" field on the investment report in the Donor Portal. Find that number to be confusing and would like to be able to remove it from the fund holders view. Like all of the other information included in the investment report.
