When completing a task, add option to add a follow-up task
When completing a task, it would be nice to have an option to add a follow-up task. When any of our staff I've assigned a task to, completes a task it would be nice for them to see an option to add the next follow-up task to ensure this occurs. Otherwise if they don't, I need to re-review their portfolios and make sure there is a follow-up occurring as needed. Organizing Notes
To better organize profile notes, a good idea to consider is to organize the notes on a profile by category as we did with the attached files update. A lot of times we go back to notes for the name things such as Grants, Profile Updates, Donations, etc.. Categorizing notes can definitely help us be more efficient and find what we are looking for in a faster more organized way.

Task ID Hyperlink for Custom Reports
When building a custom task report, would like "task id" to be an active link so that tasks could be easily opened and updated from the report. This is currently available for "note id" in a custom note report, but not "task id" in a custom task report.

Please add sort options to task lists. It currently shows in date order. I would like to be able to sort by each of the columns including description.

Multiple note types on one note
Want to be able to add more than one type to a note. Sometimes the note involves two activities, we currently create two notes. One note with multiple types attached would be better. Thank you!

Check Alert for Funds
We just got the ability to add an Alert Area for checks for profile notes which is great! However, we'd like to also have the ability to add the Check Alert Area for notes on funds, meaning when a check is paying a voucher from a specific fund, the alerts pop up for those too.

Expiry required for re-occurring tasks
Currently there is no expiry for re-ocurring tasks, you can set it up for intervals only which will continue until you remove them. At times, tasks are for a term period for example 2024-2028. Currently, in the year of 2028, you'd have to remember that the term was only 5 years and delete the task. This poses risk to process a task that shouldn't, vs having the option to input an expiry date for the task reminder to end in 2028.

Task in Red when a task is assigned
It would be nice that when we have a task that needs to be done that the task button is red, not just when the task is overdue. That way it signifies that we have a task to do. Additionally, when we have a grant or something that needs approval, when we log in an are on the dashboard, we see the item in red so we know we need to go approve etc

Tasks
When you add a regular task to a profile or fund, you have the option to share with others. When you add an opp task, you do not have that option and instead you must create the task, edit the task and then share with others. It would save SO much time if this feature could be added to opportunity tasks.

Allow the 'Ref' field to be revised in Notes so a Note can be moved from one record to another
Allow the ability to move a Note from one profile to another or from a fund to a profile or opportunity. Currently having to copy and paste, delete and create a Note, is tedious and this functionality is often needed.

When editing a Note, allow fund name to be removed
Allow the fund name to be deleted from a Note when editing a Note. Currently, we have to delete the entire Note and re-add the Note without the fund name so that Note doesn't appear in the Fund's Notes tab.

Minimize/Maximize file categories
We love being able to create categories for files and will be utilizing it more soon. We discovered, however, that when there are many files in a fund, it would be beneficial to minimize all fund categories and be able to just maximize the category we're looking for a file under.

Enable an edit button for file names in the voucher area without having to unpost. Currently we have to unpost and repost then go through the approval process again.

note type different than task type
Can we separate Note Type and Task Type? We would love to have unique task types that are not Note Types.

Move Profile Notes to a different profile
It would help if we could move notes from one profile to another. There's a Move option now but it's only to move the notes to a different designation on the same profile.

Permissions: Notes/Tasks Type Permissions
Notes/Tasks Type need to have its own permissions, different from Opportunities! I want users to be able to create a new Opportunity, but not to create a new Note/Task type. But there is no way to separate the two right now. Not sure why these are linked in the system, anyway.. Notes/Task should be their own section within the system.

May Note Update
With the new profile update, when you post or edit a note when you hit save it goes back to the main details tab. Would be good for when you click save to stay on the notes page. Same if you are unclicking sticky for the note it takes you back to the details tab after an action has been done.

Notes Custom Report filtered by profile Ids
Hello,
I hope you can boost the search of specific profiles in the notes report. The only option we have now is "Ref id" which allows us to add profile ids between "minimum to maximum or between a range. Another option will be if we can filter by the "Ref Name" field for specific profile names.

Allow administrators to see tasks created by all users
Give system administrators the capability to see tasks created by all users, not just the ones they've created.

Send Email to Users when New Note is Added
It would be great if when adding a new note, you could choose users to send an automated email to about the new note. I know there is auto-email functionality within tasks, but if something similar could be added to notes as well, that would be great. Thanks for considering!
