1. Allow bulk import of notes for journal entries.

2. Notes

   I often like to put a very simple note on a check record to indicate that I put the check in the mail. But that whole notes box is a lot and that small a note gets lost visually...what if we could have a mailed/sent check box? As I'm looking at the grid of check info, the memo line is editable regardless of posted status, so I could do a workaround and use that maybe...but it would be nice to have the option for an "in the mail" check box and date entry - for checks and any letters that go out from the system.

   I would use a custom field on your voucher or grant.  you could do a check box or a date. https://support.foundant.com/hc/en-us/articles/4409038143511-Custom-Fields-Overview
