  1. Scheduled reports: Would be nice to be able to add text to the body of the email when scheduling reports for distribution. This would allow for addition information to the recipient on purpose and/or use of the report data. Particularly useful when sending data in CSV format where that data is intended for use in a subsequent process.

  2. It feels like it should be an option to archive reports that may need to be used in the future but not at this moment.

    We have noticed since you are unable to write over reports not made by you and there isn't a permission to change that, we're saving similar reports over and over. Whereas if we could archive similar reporting, we might be able to keep the Custom Reports clean and still manage information needed in the future.

  3. Fundraisers have requested to pull donations linked to opportunities assigned to them. To facilitate this, we have one option available: the opportunity type name. It would be beneficial if you could provide us with two fields—opportunity ID and opportunity assigned name—to filter by in the donations report.

  4. Check templates have a merge field vendor_name. It would be very helpful if that same field were available for custom reports. We use Positive Pay through our bank and it's important the report matches what is printed on checks.

  5. We need a way to pull first grant date and last grant date on the grantee level (current functionality is only on the fund level) to track our new grantees and review inactive grantees (we consider any org that has not received a grant in the past 3 years to be inactive). These are included in our dashboard reports for committees and board.

  6. I'm working in Donor reports and like that I can see each year of giving, and Custom Reports doesn't do this. I would LOVE a Loyal Donor report with a filter to select for donation date of 2023, 2022, 2021, etc. and be able to roll up donor information to the household with emails for both donors (if a household) and mailing address so we can thank/recognize donors for their loyalty.

  7. It would be helpful to have the ability to share custom reports in C-suite but only to selected staff and not to all of the organization. We have reports that are needed cross-departmental and if the person that created the report isn't available to run the report we either have to wait for them to return or try to reproduce the report. The data within the report isn't something we'd want to be made available for all staff to go in and run the report.

  8. It would be nice if the report information (name, number, report details, filters, etc.) could somehow be added to the csv export similar to how it is added when you export Audit Reports. Sometimes my team will run a report and just send me the csv file. It'd be nice if I could back track and more easily find which report their data is based of.

  9. If a record is included in the list of data to select for the report, allow all fields on the record to be added to the report. Example: opportunity report allows me to report org role id and type but not the start and end date. We track when donors are added to our legacy society through org roles (because it's dated) and stewarding those members through opportunities, it would be helpful to know when they joined (start date).

  10. Please add Vendor ID to the custom reports - Profiles. Ideally, I am looking for a report with csuite profile ID and vendor ID and this does not exist (confirmed by Csuite Support).

  11. It would be extremely beneficial if the first and last donation date field would change based on other filters in the custom report. Ex. A donation report filtered by a fund that shows all the donors to the fund with the date of the first and last donation to that fund.

  12. Add bulk option to 'Set Notify' on a custom report so that a profile type can be used to isolate only main advisors on funds to receive the notifications. Currently, only option is to bulk add 'Set Notify' on the fund advisor page which would add the notification to all advisors on every fund.

  13. Be able to run a report where we can filter donations by tax receipt template type. We are receiving IRA QCD and are wanting a report that will show gifts that we received for that type of receipt specifically.

  14. When pulling a grant report, voucher report, funds report, and several others, there is no total included when you select 'see all'. We have to export the report and have excel calculate it. It would be much easier and faster if it was included. With the Funds report, it includes to totals of each fund type but not the total of funds. It would also help if that report showed the percentage of assets in that fund type.

  15. Currently, when I run reports for new donors using the First Donation Date the report is inaccurate because I am not able to filter and/or see their advised donation dates.

    For example, if someone always gives through their DAF but gave today through CC the reports says they are new based on the First Donation Date but that is not accurate, because they have given before through other charitable vehicles.

    We have enough of these instances that make a simple report take much longer to aggregate and lowers the staff's overall confidence in the acuracy of the system and its…

  16. When completing a fund summary report for a specific calendar year, CSuite generates the exact report I need with graphs and great overall information including fund group balances, donations and grants. However, I need to filter this report one step further for particular divisions. I am unable to add filters or edit the report in anyway. I'd appreciate this feature be added to these fund summary reports to alleviate creating multiple and tedious sperate reports.

  17. Could you all add a report pickup location within the system for scheduled reports to be run and then downloaded from within the system? Currently, scheduled reports only have an email option which raises security concerns for donor or financial information being sent unencrypted over email to users.

    Ideas could include putting a time line for expiration for scheduled report downloads (i.e., they are only saved in the pickup location for 24 hours) to prevent clutter.

  18. In creating a custom report for tasks, we can pull a Profile ID but NOT Profile Name. We are not sure why we cannot pull the Profile Name. Can this please be added.

  19. We have a custom report entitled 1303 Daily Tribute Card Recipient Report. We would like to be able to include the template used to create the tribute as a cross-check in the report. While template is a field in Tributes, we cannot pull it in to any reports.

    We have various templates of different orientation(s) i.e., vertical, horizontal, mother's day No basket (horizontal) and mother's day With basket (horizontal). We would like to be able to check that the correct template was pulled in.

This defect or design issue was discovered in comparing our non-rolled-up donation report (#1660) which indicates that there is a tribute made by a particular user during a particular time period, while the rolled-up donor report (#1699), using the exact same fields, does not. The fields used are Tribute Name and Tribute Donation. With help from Support, we learned that this particular donation lands in the Non Notify Tribute field because the donor did not populate the Whom To Notify Field and/or did not select the mode of notification.
