  1. I would like to be able to filter by donation creation date, not just donation date. We often receive donations that have an earlier gift date (checks, matching gifts), and for reporting purposes I need to be able to differentiate between these two dates.

  2. When inputting a donation for an existing tribute, i would like to see the notify person in brackets [ ]. Since there can be multiple notify persons per person being remembered, it would be helpful to see which existing tribute should be selected when duplicate memorials appear.

    8/2/2023: Tributes: In order to manage tributes more efficiently, a new workflow has been designed for Tributes.

    The Tribute list view is now a custom report with the ability to sort each column and  have the ability to apply filters, save filtered lists, export, email and load for future use. On the left hand menu, there is also a new Delete Unused menu item.  This will allow clients to delete any unused tributes that do not have donations attached to the tribute or if the tribute does not have associated notify information. If the notify address or email information is not completed, the tribute information will move to a non-notify tribute field.  This will allow clients to retain the information about the tribute on the donation in a text field.

    A status field has been added to tributes. By default, all tributes are now public.  The public status will allow…

  3. 990 Report needs to include the type of donation (Cash or stock) and if the donation was stock needs to include the name of the stock and how many shares. My auditor is requesting it.

In the last year, CSuite offered the option to generate a new tax receipt serial # - this was often used when a tax receipt was accidentally marked as 'sent' or when corrections needed to be made to a letter. This function has been removed and tax receipts can no longer be regenerated, but now must be manually created. My suggestion is that users be given the option to regenerate individual tax receipts - especially for cases where letters have not been sent or corrections need made.

    Tax receipts can be regenerated on an individual basis.  From the donation record, select tax receipt.  You will be given the option to create a new tax receipt.  Please contact support for further questions.

  5. Have tributes/memorials in CSuite be available for online donations to be chosen. With freeform tribute/memorial field on the donation page, we get variations of the person's name, especially if they use a nickname or abbreviation of their given name. This causes a new tribute to be created in CSuite but they are all the same person. If the donor could see a list of those already in the system and choose it, we would have a lot less clean up to do.

  6. Currently, online donations via Stripe create a New Profile if the donor enters different data in any of these four fields: First Name, Last Name, Phone, Email. For orgs that receive numerous online gifts, the duplicates can quickly become a nightmare. We suggest the Stripe-CSuite data matching be modified to look for a match on 2 of 3 fields - say, last name, street address or email address, to reduce the number of duplicate profiles.

    Please also:
    - add 'date created', and the ability to sort by date created in the duplicates form
    -devise a bulk de-deduping process

  7. Our donors would like to be able to give a recurring donation split between multiple recipients each month through the online portal with their credit card. Or at the very least be able to split their one-time donation through the portal to go to various recipients.

    This is a current option in the Donor Portal.  Donors simply have to select continue giving to make an additional donation (including recurring).

  8. When you go to Donations --> Create, you are currently able to select deceased profiles/households from the dropdown list to link to a new donation. Is there a way that the deceased profile/household will not show in that list? OR Is there a way to note that the profile/household is deceased in the dropdown just as it's noted when you search in Profiles?

    We mainly find this issue with deceased households as many donors are still using checks that have their deceased spouse name on the check.

    5/3/2023: Profiles have a new a look with this enhancement.  Foundant is excited to take so many of the User submitted ideas from idea lab and make them happen in the software.  Our highest voted idea lab submission was the ability to identify the main profile data regardless of the designation.

    The profile summary includes the information needed when working with constituents. The primary profile data will now be static at the top of the page regardless of the designation page that is being viewed.  This summary includes an image, primary contact information, last donation date and pronouns.  With this new layout there will be an icon next to the profiles name at the header.  This will allow a User to easily identify an individual, household, or organization record.   Images have also been added to the top header box for easy reference as well.   9. Please add "this week, last week and today" to filter options. The filter donation date does not include anything for a weekly report, which is something we use alot" Just makes sense if you are going to include preset values you would include all of them , year- quarter- month-week - today

  10. We have a need to see all donations created in the past week. We've been basing that on donation date, but you can enter a donation in the current week with a donation date before the current week, like when public securities are donated at the end of the year and it’s important to have that date for the donor. That’s one example. We really need the donation create date added as a field we can pull and filter on.

    I had to delete 35 years of first date donations to get the 2020 first-time donors. Not efficient!

  12. We should have the ability to edit the text of the email that is sent with an attached tax receipt for non-online donations just like we can for the automatic email for online donations. Currently it just says "Attached is the receipt for your donation on DATE". Please allow the ability to edit this content so that we can use this feature without recipients thinking it is spam.

    In Donations>Content, there is an option to edit the Donation_email_body.  This content area can contain HTML code.

  13. It would be very beneficial to have the ability to break out donations and investment earnings within a fund statement, in other works allowing subtotals by account type. This would allow fund advisors to easily see the investment returns on their funds without having to manually calculate.

  14. Is there a way to connect a tribute to a profile? If donations are made in memory of someone, shouldn't that also be linked to the deceased's profile? It links to the person who is notified, so why not the deceased. If there isn't a way to link it, is there a way to make that possible?

    9/4/2024: Donations: Enhanced the Public Securities workflow. Added the ability to import of stock on the donation record and sell of stock. Updated the securities table to use commas and six decimals places for Quantity and Unit Cost. Description will auto populate using the stock name and quantity of stock on look up of stock during creation, but not on edit of a security. Users have the option from the left hand menu to Upload file. This will allow for a .csv file with symbol, qty, description, unit_cost. Symbol and quantity are required fields on the import. User can use the csv template on the left hand menu to download the template for importing.

    Public Securities: Added the ability import the sale of securities. Users will enter the sale date and account information. The fund field will auto-populate using the fund from the donation record and accounts. Users will enter…

  17. If your donor data is organized by household, when you view the household Donation Summary, it rolls up the giving history for the household and its members. However, the canned, CSuite Donor Report does not roll up the household members.   18. Option for donors to set an end date for their Recurring Donations on online donation page. When donors enter their recurring donation online there is no end date that is able to be set, they must contact the office if they want to set an end date, for efficiency it would be easier for the donor to enter that date.

  19. For recurring donations through the donor portal where the donor has selected to add the stripe fee, the add stripe fee selection would follow through to the subsequent recurring donations instead of stopping after the first donation.

  20. It would be great to have a reporting option for the Public Securities data in our system. Especially for annual stock distribution reporting. A report that has the options to include quantities, donation amount, sales price, highs, lows, etc.
