  1. The tribute functionality is a big mess. There are multiple issues with it, which I have listed below:
    * When a donor enters "John & Jane Doe" in notify, CSuite creates an Organizational Profile. This makes finding and merging those profiles incredibly difficult.
    * Every time a donor enters notify information via the online portal, it is creating a DUPLICATE profile in CSuite. You would think this wouldn't be any big deal, but unfortunately we have tested this in multiple instances and CSuite does not recognize these are similar to existing profiles (so the little "merge" suggestion at the bottom…

    8/2/2023: Tributes: In order to manage tributes more efficiently, a new workflow has been designed for Tributes.

    The Tribute list view is now a custom report with the ability to sort each column and  have the ability to apply filters, save filtered lists, export, email and load for future use. On the left hand menu, there is also a new Delete Unused menu item.  This will allow clients to delete any unused tributes that do not have donations attached to the tribute or if the tribute does not have associated notify information. If the notify address or email information is not completed, the tribute information will move to a non-notify tribute field.  This will allow clients to retain the information about the tribute on the donation in a text field.

    A status field has been added to tributes. By default, all tributes are now public.  The public status will allow…

  2. Hello - I am still struggling with how Tributes are tracked - I cannot find a Tribute "sent" option in default reports or in Tributes or any report that shows when it might have been sent or how.

    There is a custom report available titled Tribute Notify Donations that has the fields available to track notifications sent. If you select all fields, you can reorder and delete the columns that are not needed. You can also filter to Notify Sent Ts is null to get a list of tributes that need notification.

    Come on guys, this makes sense and is a nice option for donors to see clearly and for those who receive the notices to get a personal note. Folks make notes, but there's no way for the ack recipients to get them (without us doing cutting and pasting...) Original post below. Said much better than I by @lannie troon

  4. We have 2500 existing Tributes in our system. All are showing in the sandbox release with a status of "Public". We will not want all of those tributes out on the portal. Many of these are very old, from our conversion. We would want only the most recent - the last couple years - to be seen out on the portal. Could there please be a way to update the status on old Tributes.

For online gifts, one donor calls the honoree Dr. Joe Smith, another, Joe Smith, yet another Joseph Smith...currently, that makes 3 completely different tributes, when it's the same person and the same person or family for a memorial should get notified...that's a hot mess. Also, is it fair to assume we in the position of entering a check gift would know that there is an existing tribute?? In my clicking I learned that you can merge them, but really...perhaps you could combine the two fields and if there is an existing tributed person they would pop us and we could…

  9. When reviewing tributes, many donors do not add the contact information of their "In honor of" or "In memory of" - for these donations, we'd love a way to mark them as "Contact Information Not Found" instead of having to mark them as "Sent" even though we're not able to send them out.

  10. For tributes it would be nice to have a similar checkbox and dropdown menu to the tax reciepts process. We typically only like to send 1 email/letter for tributes but for the payments via Stripe there is often a processing fee that the donor covers which creates two-line items in the system. A checkbox process, like tax receipts, would make it easy to mark these second line items as “sent.”

  11. On the Tributes List page (fcsuite.com/erp/memorial/list?), it would be helpful to be able to sort this list by each of the column headers.

    Am also wondering why the Tribute Sorting Idea was Archived.

  12. When receiving multiple gifts for the same tribute and each donor has requested a different person to be notified of their gift, there is no way to tell which person is to be notified of which donor's gift.

    Also, when receiving multiple gifts for the same tribute and some donors have requested a person to be notified and others haven't, there is no way to tell which donor has requested a notification of their gift to be sent and which donor has no requested a notification to be sent.

    Please provide clarification.
