  1. Unless I'm totally missing it in the many lines of field options, there is no envelope string in the the list for grant letters. I use it in tax recpt/thank you letters. Can we please get it in the other letters?

  3. Forgive me if this is a duplicate suggestion... would it be possible to add the "Add Note" function to templates? I love leaving bread crumbs (e.g., notes) for my colleagues at the fund level, grant level, etc. I would also like to document why certain templates have been edited they way they currently appear so that future employees have the important org history even after I'm enjoying life on the beach full time. :-) Thanks for considering.

  4. The table that is created with the yearly tax receipt is not formatted correctly and needs to be fixed.

    1 - The total amount is not formatted in the same way as the donation line amounts. If the donation amount is an even dollar amount, then .00 will print for the cents. If the total amount is an even dollar amount, then no cents print.

    2 - When a dollar sign is added to the template, then a dollar sign prints on every line of the table even when no number is present. Therefore a $ prints on blank lines.

  6. Fund Service Area Field should be able to be used in Tax Receipt Templates.
    Funds are unique and reach both broad and very specific geographical locations within our region, and it would be a benefit to be able to identify that within the template, just as Fund Statement fields are able to.

  7. When pulling the student award letter, it would be better to pull the students first then the last name - not last then first, does not make sense to do that...

  8. It would be very helpful if the fund beneficiary description was added as a field in the check templates.

    We have an annual COE event where we present distribution checks to each organization with endowment funds. We want to use the grant letter on the check template and we need the fund beneficiary description to be available as a template field. Without that field being available we can only rely on using a custom field, and even with that we have to find a way to associate those descriptions to the grants we create.

  10. Currently there does not seem to be a way to mark a donation record saying that an acknowledgement letter was sent to a donor that is not eligible for a serial numbered tax receipt.

    The record currently shows that no Serial Number was issued, however, we still acknowledge these gifts and it would be incredibly helpful to have a box saying 'Acknowledgement Sent?' Yes/No.

    Currently our staff have to hunt through their inboxes to find these records when an ineligible donor requests a copy of their acknowledgement letter. They only have the donation date to go by in their search.

  11. We have a community member who set up a donation through "amazon smile" to come to us on a monthly basis. We do not need to issue a tax receipt, but would like the option to set up a custom tax receipt letter as more of a thank you to the community member who set this up anytime a donation comes in. To do this we have to remember each time this particular donation is made to select the tax receipt (thank you) template. I would like to see a way that I could set up a specific tax receipt…

  12. Be able to add multiple emails to a profile that receive the receipt. For example on a household both spouses receive the receipt. Or if they have a financial advisor that would also like to receive the tax receipt it will auto send to them as well when we bulk send receipts.

  13. Hello,

    We are facing a new situation and have devised some workaround, but we would like to request a bit more flexibility within CSuite to handle this.

    The short of this request is to give us a little more control over the “auto tax receipt” which currently “sends an automatic email receipt to your online and recurring donors.” We would like the ability to turn this automated email receipt OFF on a per-donor basis. Overall, it is great to be automated, but we have come across a situation where it isn’t.

  14. Couple things -

    If I go to the donation and queue up the tax recpt/thank you to go out via the system in an email, then send it. The field for tax recpt does not change from "not sent". But hey, I sent it, and the software did it, so why doesn't it change??

    Also, when will you change that tag from No to the much more helpful and logical SENT???

    Also, would it be possible to have more than one option for the email that goes out with a tax recpt attached? We have various funds or situations that…

  16. We have a number of donors who would like their gift acknowledgments mailed to an office instead of to them personally. We do not want to overwrite their personal address as the default address to accomplish this because we still need to correspond with them directly on other matters. Could there be an option to select a second or different address/profile when choosing the tax receipt options as gifts are being entered.

  17. There are merge fields for nondeductible amount and the nondeductible and deductible amounts combined. Could there be a merge field that's JUST the deductible amount? We often use that field in some of our tax receipts.

  18. Trying to create a custom report that has both total amount contributed, broken out by tax deductible and non-deductible. This field is available in our tax receipt, but I can't pull it into a custom report. I've been advised to pull a donation report and an invoice report...which is a pain.

  19. When you select 'email tax receipt', in a bulk process it would be nice if the donations with an email would be sent and the donations that do not have an email address would sit out there as not sent. Then we could print those and send them.

  20. Add Salutation Field to Reports/Donors report. We pull this report to merge with our annual Valentine's card to our previous year donors to give them the final annual total to help with their taxes. (Don't worry, it's not an official tax receipt like the letter we sent during the year.)
