Ability to change information in the invitation window on an application once an invited person has accepted
Once a person has been invited to an application and has accepted the invitation, it would be helpful if system administrators had the ability to edit information in the invitation window—such as correcting the spelling of a name or email address. It's common for the person sending the invitation to make small mistakes, and they often reach out to us for corrections after the invitee has accepted. Currently, the only way to fix these errors is to delete the invitation and re-invite the person, which is inefficient.

@John, we get requests/have issues with this occasionally.
If the email is incorrect, we advise users to cancel and resend the invitation.
However, sometimes the invitation is accepted, but there may be a typo in the invitee's name, or an incorrect title listed.
We work with applicants/programs which are highly competitive, and applicants are often very anxious to ensure that all of their application details are correct, including e.g. titles of invited collaborators.
Having to withdraw and re-invite an already accepted application, often close to a submission deadline, just to update basic invitation information is a poor user experience for applicants and grant managers.
We know that users can just update their own details once they have created an account, but this is not displayed/reflected in the invitation list on an application, which causes confusion for applicants.

When the user types in the fields ie: First name, last name, etc. they will sometimes make a mistake ie: spelling on fist name or last name and they want us to correct it because the only thing they can do is delete the invited contact and reinvite as well as system admins can only do the same by deleting and reinviting. It would be awesome if system admin or even the user can update this information at anytime.

Can you clarify the use case for having to change the user? Is it that you used the wrong email (ex. using their personal email instead of work email)?
