Minimize Replies for Flagged Notes
Flagged notes are helpful if they're brief. However, when a flagged note has replies, every part of the thread is posted on the Application. I want to enable flagged notes to minimize or hide their replies to reduce the space they would take up on the Application.

Ability to Search Lookup - Autocomplete Field Options in Batch Update
When using the batch update for a Lookup - Autocomplete custom field having the ability to search the list of options is helpful when navigating a long list of options. Currently you must scroll through the alphabetical list which is time consuming and prone to errors.

Multiple Standard Field Update from single task
Just like when creating a workflow task allows updating multiple custom fields at once, the same functionality should apply to standard fields. Currently, updating each standard field requires a separate task. So, if I need to update 5 standard fields, I have to create 5 different tasks — whereas for custom fields, all changes can be made within a single task.

Stacked Bar Chart Portal Chart
Stacked bar charts are often requested by clients as part of portal design and aren't currently an option with built in portal charts. A common ask is for something such as stacking charts and displays from the budget manager such as committed, paid and remaining amounts. While this can be done with a custom report, The ability to do it off of a list view in a portal would make this much easier from a configuration and client perspective. Promotion Rollback for Project-Based T2P Tool
Introduce a rollback feature in the new project-based T2P tool to allow reverting configuration changes promoted to test or production environments.
Use Case:
After promoting changes to a test environment, testing revealed issues, and a decision was made to not proceed with those configuration changes. In this case, the rollback feature would allow reverting specific changes within the current environment to its prior state. Similarly, if changes have been promoted to production and need to be temporarily undone, the rollback function would enable this.Implementation:

Ability to permission the view parent/split screen functionality based on status
Often review forms are configured with a conflict of interest status. In the conflict of interest status, reviewers should be able to see a few fields from the application, but not have access to the full application. Currently the only way to configure this is to disable the reviewer from viewing the parent record and configuring a custom field to be used to view the grant in split screen. Revamp the Person to Person relationship menu
I have a couple of clients that are using the person to person relationship in SmartSimple. This is an older feature that hasn't gotten a lot of love/updates and it would be nice if we could update the UI to match the UI we have for Associations. Right now the UI is pretty out dated and it feels clunky to navigate.

AI Vision in PDF and Excel
For your AI Vision tool, it would be game changing for us if we could use it on PDF documents and even Excels. We require our applicants to upload bank letters which then go through a manual review to ensure that it contains all necessary information. AI Vision perhaps could be used to ensure an account number is present, address, swift code, etc. Similarly, a budget as an Excel contains line items that might be unallowable per our policy. Maybe AI Vision could be used to help detect unallowable line items.

Notification Broadcast
Add the possibility in the Notification Broadcast to have the notification stay visible all the time once using the sytem. Currently the user has the notification at connexion only and then the notification closes. After this improvement the notification could appear all the time, preventing the user from missing important information.

Webinars held at times European users can attend
Can you please hold webinars at a time where European Smartsimple users can attend or hold separate webinars for European users.
The last three webinars: SmartSimple's February 2026 Upgrade Overview, Configuring SMTP OAuth 2.0 for Office 365 and Online Project-Based Test to Production (T2P) have all been held at 02:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada) which is 8pm Central European time and 7pm GMT. This excludes European users from participating in these webinars and we miss out on important information. Please consider making a change to these. Thank you.

Great suggestion, for many of the webinars including the product upgrade webinars, we offer multiple times to handle the range of time zones. The main sessions you reference are delivered by Support, they have committed to an earlier time to better accommodate European users.

Need to be able to attach an organization to L2 payment records
We need to be able to attach a payee organization on an L2 payment record that can be different from the org listed on the L1. We've had to create a number of inelegant workarounds in the record and in reporting to get payments to work for our business processes. If it worked like the standard organization field on the L1, that would be the functionality we need.

Integration with BILL.com
Currently key grant information directly into BILL.com. After grants are paid, payment information flows into QuickBooks and records the general ledger transactions.

Branding Customization
Change colours on reporting charts. More flexibility to include branding colours and logos. Possibility to upload images/logos in Smartfolders to add own icons.

Add Ability to Open Level 2 in View Mode
Level 2 activities need an "Edit/View" button toggle. Currently, only Level 1 records and Organization/Contact Profiles have the "Edit/View" capability. We need this on Level 2 to enable our Program Managers to open an External Review form in View mode and then select "Edit" in the upper left to open the form for edits.

Expanding Auto Archive Settings
It would be helpful for the Auto Archive feature to be configured per status that triggers it, so that there is more granular control over how records get archived.
For example, despite multiple statuses being able to trigger the archival process, if they must be unarchived, they all get the same status.
Additionally, it would be helpful to also be able to define when the auto archival process happens. For example, perhaps after a day, week, or month. Being able to define that per status add more flexibility.

Display all fields on Charts
Display all data fields on Chart key. Right now, the Chart only displays 8 fields and you need to scroll to see additional fields. When you download the chart, only some of the fields are displayed.

Add 3+ layer parent/child relationships of tags to the tag library, and make them searchable based on parent/child status as well as by tag.
Use case:

SmartFolder Direct Access Hyperlink
The SmartFolder Link custom field allowed users to add a clickable folder link directly within a record. When clicked, it opened the associated SmartFolder in a modal window, providing quick access to documents without leaving the page.
Use Cases:
Quickly access client or project folders directly from the record.
Enable workflow participants to view or manage related documents during task completion.
Streamline processes such as document review, onboarding, or audits by embedding direct folder links into forms or workflows.
Restoring the SmartFolder Link field would improve efficiency by providing seamless, in-context access to folders where related documents are stored.

Set Fund on Grant Installments in SmartSimple
Need to have the ability to see fund balances and select the fund(s) that will be paying a grant payment within the SmartSimple platform, before the grant is sent to CommunitySuite for payment.

Extended Ability to Transfer Files from one Upload Field to Another
In the February 2025 Update, Upload fields were updated to allow the transfer of files between Upload fields on the same form. This functionality should be extended such that files can be transferred between levels, and even UTAs. As an example, if we collect forms on an Application and want it posted to their Organization Profile, that has to be done manually right now.
