  1. Envelope Printing Incorrectly for DAF Donations

    For Donations that are from a Donor Advised Fund or other scenarios where you have an Advisor to the donation that needs the tax receipt or acknowledgement letter (e.g., Edward Jones account is donor, but Jane Smith is advisor), the envelope template in Csuite still pulls "Edward Jones 1234 Foundant St" as the address, not the donor advisor. How can this be changed or can I change the envelope template and re upload this? I have to go to the donor advisor profile each time and print an envelope from their profile, rather than just use the streamlined 'print envelopes'…

  2. Change "no-reply@fcsuite.com" to Default Email Reply To

    We are continuing to have problems with Fund Advisors telling us that they are not receiving system-generated emails from us. We believe this is because the name and the email address do not match. That is, our organization's name is in the sender name but the domain in the email address is fcsuite.com.

    Has there been any discussion to investigate the possibility of changing "no-reply@fcsuite.com" to what is entered in the "Default Email Reply To" setting in Systems Data?

    We believe this would pass more smoothly through spam filters.

  3. Create Donation Advisor Name Field (vs Donor Name) in Tax Receipt Templates

    Currently there is no merge field in templates for Donation Advisor, versus Donor Name. For advised donations, it would be helpful to have a template that includes the fields for the advisor instead of the technical "donor." For example, Schwab Charitable may be the source of the donation check, but John Smith was the advisor for that donation. We don't want to thank Schwab; we want to thank John Smith. Right now, we must edit the thank you and it would be great if we could automate this process.

  4. Link one note to multiple profiles or funds

    Often times, we have to copy the same note to multiple profiles or funds because either there were multiple contact people for one fund or there was one contact person for multiple funds. Right now the only way to show up in multiple places is to copy the note.

  5. Custom Report Filter: "AND" "OR" logic within one filter

    It would be nice to allow "AND" "OR" logic within one filter, esp. for textbox fields.
    Right now the logic can only exist between different filters, but within one filter/field, there is no flexible logic built in for multiple criteria, nor does it allow using the same filter more than one time (with different values).

    Examples:
    (1) filter "Prefix" is "Mr." OR "Mrs." OR "Ms." AND "not null".
    (2) filter "profile type" IS "x" AND IS NOT "y"

  6. Moving Sandbox campaign to live CSuite

    Would like to be able to move a campaign that you set up in Sandbox to live CSuite at once. It is nice to be able to create and edit a campaign in Sandbox, but once you perfect it in Sandbox, it is a pain to recreate the whole thing in the live site. Would love a "move this entire campaign to CSuite live" option (could come with a potential warning when you click "move to live".

  7. Admin Fee Edit

    It would be very helpful to be able to edit the calculated admin fees prior to posting. Similar to how distributions/spending calculations can be edited prior to posting.

  8. Enable Custom Account Types

    The ability to create additional account types would be a huge timesaver. The Account Types offered currently are too few in number and can't possibly align with the account types (or groupings) of the typical user. Custom account types would also simply the process of creating financial views.

  9. fund advisor portal grant notification-advisor specific

    Please make Grant Notify specific to the advisor who made the recommendation. There are many funds with multiple advisors and only the person who recommended the grant should receive notification that it has arrived or is being paid. Telling all the relatives every time one makes a grant is intrusive.

  10. Exclude suffix from profile search

    When searching for an individual who has a suffix, that suffix needs to be typed in after the last name to be able to find that profile. Not all staff are aware that a suffix is found on the profile to know to include it in the search. It would be more helpful if we didn't have to type in the suffix and instead just the last name, comma, and first name.

    For example, searching "Smith, Joe" would return "Smith Jr., Mr. Joe W.". Right now, it doesn't.

  11. Notifications to Fund Advisor when Documents Are Uploaded in Donor Portal

    It would be helpful if a donor would get an email notification, or be able to see a notification pop up on their portal homepage when we have uploaded a document into the portal portal, or shared a file. Basically any updates since they last logged in.

  12. Bank Reconciliation with Outstanding Items List

    It would be nice on the bank reconciliation to show a list of outstanding items with the totals at the bottom of the bank reconciliation, so it's a complete report which will tie into the Balance Sheet.

  13. Expand the Fund Beneficiary options from just percentages to both specific amounts and percentages.

    We have donors who have designated multiple fund beneficiaries and request that one beneficiary receive a dollar amount, and then the others receive percentages of what is then available each year. Or several beneficiaries are to receive specific amounts and a final one to receive 100% of the residual. The work-around to set up recurring grants and process them before the percentages kick in is an opportunity for mistakes and is not sustainable for these perpetual grants. Please create the option of having a blend of percentages and fixed amounts so that we can fulfill donor intent efficiently. THANKS.

  14. ID # search

    The only search function that allows you to search using ID #s is the main search bar on the top left of the home page. It would be great if the ID # search would be available in all search areas instead of having to type in the fund name, profile name, etc. We are at the beginning phases of using CSuite and have multiple profiles that have the same name. It is impossible to find the correct profile when searching only by name. Using ID search in all areas would help keep errors to a minimum.

  15. Fund Statement Template Fields: add all account types

    It would be very helpful if the fund statement field available for equity accounts - equity_(account number) - were available for all account types (income, expenses, assets, liabilities). We have some unique calculations that are needed for certain fund types and if we could just pull account balances from specific accounts, we would be able to do the calculations on the template. But since the various account types (except Equity) can only be displayed within their own "block", we are unable to make these calculations and therefore have to produce the statements outside of CommunitySuite.

  16. Donor/Fund Advisor Portal Donate Tab

    Currently the "Donate" tab in the Donor Portal shows the name of the individual's fund and any funds we are promoting. We like the option to promote several funds, however, the donor's fund gets lost in that page as it just appears alphabetically. We would love the option to float their fund to the very top so it's easier to find.

  17. Complete Multiple Grants at One Time

    I would like an option to complete multiple grants all at one time, but not ALL grants. Our organization utilizes this function to track when our organizations have submitted their completed grant reports on how funds were used. We process grants and two different types of scholarships. We don't need grant reports for scholarships so I want to mark them complete right after processing them. Right now though this is an all or nothing feature from what I can tell so I have to manually go into each grant and complete it because I don't want to bulk complete all…

  18. percentage of gift to spendable

    It would be nice to have the ability to apply a percentage or dollar amount of a donation to the spendable and the remainder to the endowed portion. We have some funds that have been setup this way but currently the donation has to be entered as two separate donations in order to achieve the split.

  19. Tribute donations messages

    Sadly, my idea is in here, just archived - with over 50 votes no less!!
    Come on guys, this makes sense and is a nice option for donors to see clearly and for those who receive the notices to get a personal note. Folks make notes, but there's no way for the ack recipients to get them (without us doing cutting and pasting...) Original post below. Said much better than I by @lannie troon

  20. Profiles: required fields - visually display which fields

    Nice that you added the ability to designate required fields for profiles. An enhancement would be to indicate which fields are required when creating a new profile --- such as an asterisk or red field label to indicate that a field is required. Rather than clicking Save only to find that those fields were not filled in.
