  1. We have two options for a student to submit a letter of recommendation. They can ask a teacher to do this (via the 3rd party request in the system) or they can elect to upload the letter themselves.

    If an applicant starts with the 3rd party request option, but then later changes it to "upload myself" because the original recommender did not follow through, the SLM system still thinks there is a missing 3rd party request.

    The student's application stays in the "Action needed" column, even though the letter is uploaded AND it shows as 0/1 in the 3rd Party…

  2. This is just a minor UI/UX suggestion. I recently had a grantee miss a deadline because they thought the dates shown on past requests in the Organization History indicated the date the requests were submitted, not the date they were approved. Granted, there are plenty of other ways to check deadlines, but I imagine if it's happened once, it's probably happened other times as well. All this would take is changing the Date column to read Decision Date.

  3. Eliminate separate journal entries from being produced when there are multiple funds attached to a single journal entry. The creation of multiple journal entries makes it more difficult to review.

  4. This idea was posted back in 2019 and had 20+ upvotes. Our grantees receive their automatic email reminders for forms in the middle of the night - about 3am CST! Support says that emails begin sending automatically at 2am, and continue until they have all been sent. There needs to be an option to adjust this. Nonprofit employees shouldn't worry about their phones pinging in the middle of the night. "Hey, it's us! Just popping into your bedroom to remind you that your follow up form is due tomorrow!" LOL

  5. I have several agencies with multiple representatives involved in the grant process. I'd love for a way to allow non-assigned applicants to view all forms (during all statuses) and have the option to submit forms; or create an "all-inclusive collaborate" option so the person who initially applies can allow others to submit any forms and not one specific follow-up.

  6. Trying for this idea again.

    We have many users that act as both applicants and evaluators, at different times. We frequently have users contact us because they’re not able to submit forms related to their requests as applicants. Even though they’ve been told they need to be under the applicant role, they log in, see their applicant forms right there on the evaluator dashboard, fill them out, and then can’t submit. Unhelpfully, the error message they get is that there is a prior form that they haven’t submitted, which isn’t the case.

  8. In GLM and SLM, when onboarding new staff members who will be administrators to the environment, there is not really a clear way to lead them through training. The training used to be straight forward with Base Camp and the videos were sequential in logic to help build a true understanding of the software tools. Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't find anything like that now in the Learning Center. There's a catalog of videos and FAQs, but unless I go in and hand pick the ones I want my staff person to take, there's no great way to…

  9. Please consider only allowing one application per process by each organization. I saw duplicate application from single applicant most of the time. I would be greatly appreciate if it is fixed soon.

CSuite/GLM synced grants: Applicants that receive multiple grants from designated funds need to be able to see the Fund Name in order to easily differentiate between the grants they have received. It needs to be available for other forms and merge fields too. Specifically on Follow Up forms and in email merge templates.

  11. Please change the color of the Administrator Comment box!

    When we provide comments for our applicants, they are constantly complaining that the box blends in with the rest of the white and off-white colors and words on the screen. It's true!

    Please change the white box to a colored box or allow administrators to choose the color of the box or change the text color for administrator comments. This small change would improve the applicant experience.

  12. In GLM, the address fields do not allow for international organizations, and the strict requirements often make it so international applicants have to input incorrect information in order to create a profile. It would be great if these fields could accommodate international addresses.

  13. It would be very helpful if collaborators or others in an organization could see any administrator comments made within an LOI or application. Currently, only the applicant can see the comments. If the applicant is asking for help from a collaborator, it is necessary that the collaborator see our comments.

  15. On the applicant dashboard, it would be helpful in Historical to show by default (without needing to expand) the status of the request. From the applicant's perspective, it's key to know if a request was denied, approved and completed, or abandoned. It's nice to see immediately what was successful and what was not. The arrow to expand next to the category heading is not clear.

Custom Message/Yellow Card - In the New Dashboard, the yellow card/custom message card in the upper left corner needs to have the visibility adjusted so more of our custom message can be seen, similar to the other cards. Right now, it is cut in half with a large blank space that serves no purpose.

  17. We would like to remove or deactivate the "See Opportunities" button on the left-hand To Do panel. All of our applicants can get to the apply page by clicking "Apply", and having more than one pathway creates confusion.

  18. Currently we request financial audits at the application and report stage in a grant cycle. This often means the same audit lives in two places.

    I would be great if users could upload files (audits, in this case) to the Organization Documents tab to keep everything in one place.

  19. Improve the new applicant dashboard in SLM. We utilize SLM primarily for our scholarship program but do also have two awards programs that we also use SLM to run the nomination process. Our scholarship processes are all connected with eligibility quizzes, therefore when the scholarship season is closed, our dahsboard now looks like this. Please consider making the yellow card larger to fill the top space so that 1. All the information populates without needing to click 'See More,' and 2. Makes the new dashboard more appealing for a user as the current view is empty and looks incomplete.

  20. We have a question used in several processes. I propose a question maintained in the process manager than can be added to multiple processes. We would have one location to maintain the response options for simplicity/authority. It would also streamline reporting metrics with uniform answers for comparison.
