Make Apply More Prominent
There are several ideas around the apply page, but I didn't see this one addressed specifically.
Please make the "Apply" at the top of the page more prominent. With the new applicant dashboard, everyone's eyes seem to be drawn only to the columns and cannot locate the apply button. Make it larger, a different color, or something to make it stand out.

Nominator Role
Need the ability for someone to nominator another person or organization to receive a grant. The nominator is not the recipient but needs to initiate the application. The recipient will receive the award and will need to be assigned follow up forms.

2-Factor Authentication by Phone or Email
We want to require our GLM users to enable 2-factor authentication, but are concerned about asking them to download an app to do so. Most of them probably aren't using an authenticator app anywhere else. We would like to offer them the option to have a code sent to their phone or email to authenticate so they are not required to download an authenticator app.

Historical grant information - highlight on dashboard
Can you please make the "Historical" menu option on the applicant dashboard more prominent or easier to identify? We have been fielding requests from a large number of organizations for documents they could easily find themselves, if they realized that the data was available under that menu. With "Historical" grayed out, they aren't even seeing it until we point it out to them. We are having to send them instructions (see attachment) to help them understand how much data is at their fingertips and how to access it.

GLM and Screen reader Accessibility
We received a note from one of our applicants stating that they are unable to use their screen reader software with GLM. I was given some resources about adjusting the visual accessibility of browsers to use GLM, but I wanted to put in those applicants idea about improving the accessibility of GLM for those applicants with low or no vision.

Custom Logon Page Message
Hello - I am finding myself a little frustrated this time around when attempting to update my logon page message (for both SLM and GLM portal login pages). Even if I format outside of the page and copy to paste it in as I'd like it to display, it is now pulling everything left and not holding the formatting.
My bigger ask to help solve this is can we have better rich text tools in the editing of the Logon Page Message under settings in both SLM and GLM? I'd like the ability to first and foremost choose the alignment…

show character count to applicant on text boxes
Reposting from
Unfortunately, the text boxes do not show a character count while the applicant is filling them in so they are forced to guess and test their content over and over. This becomes frustrating and causes headaches.
Consistency is key to ease.

When an applicant signs into their dashboard, is it possible to have the access code box appear right away rather than having to click "Apply" at the top of the page first? Our Open process LOI appears on that first page and applicants with an access code are getting confused when they don't see an access code box and they complete an LOI even if they have been given an access code for a particular application.

Condensed List View for New Applicant Dashboard
With the updated applicant dashboard featuring a card/tile layout, applicants, particularly students, can face usability challenges when they’re eligible for multiple scholarships. For example, if a student qualifies for just six or more scholarships, they have to scroll to view all their opportunities.
To improve the user experience, especially for applicants managing several grants/opportunities, please consider adding a toggle option for a condensed or list-style view. This view could reduce the size of the cards or display opportunities in a single row-based layout, allowing applicants to see more at once without excessive scrolling.
This enhancement would make navigating the dashboard…

Filter option when looking at organization history.
It would be very helpful to have a filter function when applicants (in our case, organization primary contacts) are viewing their organization history. Right now, they have to sort / scroll past all abandoned applications, cannot filter by date, etc.

Can over character limits be formated to be red?
Ok, we all know red means alert. I have so many applicants who get confused about not being able to submit an LOI, Application, or Follow-up due to being over the character limit. There is no visual cue to direct them. Can that please be changed and save me the time of having to figure out what the problem is, having to increase the character count or explain it one more time?

Collaborator and Upload Questions
It would be nice to give applicants the option to share or not share file upload questions to collaborators. For instance, if the applicant is uploading sensitive documents, ie. pay rates, a collaborator may not need to see uploaded document information.

Collaborator added Functionality
With the collaborator feature, it would be nice to be able to have the option to have a check box to share admin comments to the collaborators if needed. Now that collaborators can assist applicants, admin comments are only visible to applicants.

Add Multiple Users to a Request
If multiple users in the system are involved with a request, allow for the request be cross-listed under both/all user accounts. Similarly to collaboration, users will be able to work together on an application, but the request will then appear in both/all users' request histories.

Primary Contact Descriptor
Could there be a small pop-up when your cursor goes over this field that explains how the primary contact works?
Our applicants often think "primary contact" indicates who will receive communications about their application. They frequently email saying they kept trying to change the primary contact and were unsuccessful.
We would like applicants to know that
1) the primary contact is the executive director/officer
2) site administrators control who is the primary contact
3) all communications are sent to the user that submitted an applicationThanks for your suggestions on how best to make this information clear to applicants!

Option to give collaborators access to admin comments
Please give an option to allow Collaborators to have the ability to see the Administrator comments. This causes many problems within our application process. Maybe include the option for admin to click a box that either allows visibility to ONLY the primary applicant OR the primary applicant AND collaborators. Same with uploaded documents.

Right now, when our grantees apply for renewing grants, they see a pop-up box that tells them have already applied. Eventually there is another button to "apply again" but overall it's a very confusing process and we are spending a lot of time walking applicant through it. Is there a way to streamline this or make it easier? Feels like the older system worked better.

Make Registration Fields Admin-Editable
Please allow admins the option to edit user fields. While Foundant Support is generally very responsive to requests, it seems unnecessary to have to bother the team every time we would like a change made to our registration page. thank you!
