I am working on an application where the scholarship donor wants an accounting of projected expenses and anticipated contributions/income, to which they ask for a bottom line "Amount needed to balance school budget for the upcoming year"

As a result of COVID19, we have decided to use Docusign to get our Grant Agreements signed and returned to us. I notice other systems have an integration with Docusign. Is this on the radar for Foundant?117 votes
We have a number of GLM email templates and sometimes it is quite confusing to choose the correct one, especially if sending out numerous emails. There are two ways that possibly it would be easier to distinguish among the numerous templates. One being, being able to assign templates to folders, so the list is smaller. Secondly, to make the background colour of each of the shaded templates darker or a different colour, so when scrolled over it is more apparent what is being chosen.1 vote

It would be a great tool to have in the application, review and reporting stages to have the ability to create tables for grantees to fill out (text fields, not necessarily complex budget tables (But Budget tables would also be appreciated ;) )

Question Type for Demographics
It would be nice to have a question type that would allow for multiple parts to be under the same question. Right now we have to create separate questions for each group. For example:
What ages are the clients you serve?

We often ask grant applicants to include a copy of their budget. It would be helpful if a budget form could actually be included in the application process, rather than as just a separate file upload.134 votes
We have experienced a good number of applicants having difficulty locating administrator comments when sending applications back for revisions. The vertical blue line at the left side is easy to scroll by. Applicants then call or email with questions regarding areas to be corrected, stating they cannot locate what needs modified.1 vote

We'd like to see the pre-population of stated outcomes listed on the interim and final reports so that the grantee (and the grantmaker) can see what the intentions of the grant were versus what the actual outcomes were. It is time consuming to review grants and have to look through the application and pull out the intended outcomes only to have to do the same for the follow up reports, then have to create a chart or other document that shows the information side by side. It will also help grantmaking staff understand the history of a grant if there has been a reassignment (such as the case of a grants manager/program officer staff change.)

Hello! We recently moved a number of applications into "Denial Draft" and then, a few weeks later, into "Deny." It appears Foundant records their denial dates as the dates they were moved into "Denial Draft." Would it be possible to change that so that denial dates are the dates they are formally and finally denied? It would more accurately reflect our decision-making process.Thanks!Bob Hybben3 votes
I would like to have the ability to program a notification so I'm alerted when an installment payment is due. I see this working the same way as follow-up reminders work for grantees, but it would be an internal notification set up to remind an administrator that a payment is coming due on an installment grant.

I would like the board members to have read only access to reports. Standard reports and saved reports would be great. At this time board members are also administrators and the chance for them to accidentally blow something up is too risky.3 votes
