  1. Additional standard merge fields available in email templates and the ability to customize / add your own to the forms. We have information that must legally be included in our approval and denial letters which are not available to be merged into the email, so we need to stop and fill in each manually, reducing the efficiency of automation within GLM.

  2. Please allow for the option to edit the invitation email that is sent to the collaborators.

    Unlike many of the system emails, the collaborator email is not editable as the template is simply not available to edit. We are asking that you give us the option to edit this template to make it more personalized and seem less "phishy". It is currently unbranded, very simple, and makes some worried that it is an illegitimate email.

  3. Is there a way in GLM when sending an email to have the reply come back into the system so that it is recorded? Currently, I input my outlook email address in the "Reply To" but that does not pull into the GLM. I would like to be able to keep track of responses in a more seamless manner.

  4. It would be nice if we could have a notification to administrators when an evaluator has completed their evaluations so you know to move to the next step.

  5. Emails generated through Foundant have grey boarder margins that cut off sentences on some email platforms. Can Foundant fix this formatting issue so email formatting will look the same on multiple email providers?

  7. Someone else suggested, but the idea was archived, so want to reiterate that we also would strongly appreciate a notice being sent to applicants if a third party email address bounces. We were again spending a lot of staff hours identifying bounced third party emails one by one, and notifying applicants. Unfortunately, this made for a very tight turnaround in some cases.

  10. It would be useful to be able to have the Process Summary as a merged field in an email template. Every year before opening the scholarships, I send the donors a copy of their criteria using word merge. It would be easier to just send them an email from SLM.

  11. In order to facilitate the archival of correspondance linked to an organization or a request, we try to always send e-mails directrly from Foundant (using the "Send (no template)" option.

    However, the responses come to our Outlook inbox and we have to save them somewhere in order to upload them in the Document section of the organization or request. It takes time and it does not allow us to view all correspondance in one place (e-mail history).

    There is a lot of back and forth with applicants and grantees, so that would be very useful!

    We are continuing to understand the  needs and workflows for emails that need to come back into the system. 


    What providers are people using? 

    Are there emails other than responses to system messages that need to live in the system? 

    If an email was sent in relation to a request, example for submitted, where would you want to view that email from? 


    Any thoughts are very helpful

  12. I'd like to be able to have different friendly names on outgoing emails for different programs. Ideally, it would be another choice on an email template/message.

  13. We use manual e-mails for our responses to various requests and we sometimes process these outside office hours. We would like to be able to schedule manual e-mails for a later time or date.

Someone else requested it, but it was archived, so I would like to bring back into consideration third party reminders based on a due date (the application due date, if not a separate third party due date), instead of the date when the third party response was requested. Our application process opens several months before the application due date, and some requests are made right away. Not only will those recommenders forget by the actual due date, but it has historically seriously annoyed our recommenders to receive a reminder before the actual due date.   15. I'd like to see an automatic email be sent based on a question answered on the application. For example, "Would you like information on the other financial aid assistance we offer?" And if they click "Yes" then an email with more information is sent.

  16. It would be helpful for our grantees to receive a message when a previous report was accepted (completed on our end) so they can move onto the next report that’s due. The only notification they receive is if the reports are sent back as incomplete.

  17. When notifying someone of a grant award, we have always referenced the fund name in a check letter. As we move notifications to email, we need to be able to include the Fund Names. In CommunitySuite-integrated processes, the field exists already in the Installment form. It would be great if that field were both shared to other forms and as a merge field for email templates!

  19. It would be so useful to be able to incorporate logic into email templates. If I could have one sentence if a certain condition is true, and another if it's not, would save me from having to create (and maintain!) a multitude of templates.

  20. I had a partner organization reach out to ask if it was possible for their organization to receive email notification to multiple people from the system. From the sounds of it, in the GLM only the applicant of the request (or assignee of follow-ups) can receive the automatic emails generated from the system.

    If it would be possible to have an option to select multiple recipients for an email to be sent from the system that would be great!
