Radio Question Type - Other
It would be great if we could have 'other' as an option for a radio question that gives you (the builder) the choice to automatically produce a text box for applicants to input data around their selection. Currently you have to build 'other' into the question and then build a branched question group, which can not only get messy, but can make the application flow feel very disjointed, depending on the build.

Request History as an Internal Form Field
The request history table in the print packet is so helpful. Board members and evaluators really like to have a quick snapshot of this information.
It would be great if we could
1) pull this table into application or evaluation form as an internal field or
2) create a field with the option to make request history pop out as an external window
or any solution that offers a simple way to have eyes on request history to those folks who spend little time in the database and don't feel comfortable with extra clicksThank you!

Numeric Grant Numbers
Can Foundant add numeric grant numbers that auto-counts grants in a process?
For example, we support research projects and grantees need to acknowledge it in the research paper with something to the effect of "We acknowledge financial support from "Foundation Name" under grant # ("Foundation Acronym"-***) at the end of the paper. The grant number allows for tracking where we would enter in the grant number in something like Google Scholar and see how many papers have been published through it.
Right now, there are no unique identifiers for Grants to track externally.

Text Ranking with Score
We would love the ability to display ranking options in text to our evaluators, such as
Extremely Clear
Very Clear
Somewhat Clear
Not So Clear
Not at All ClearBUT - We'd like to store them as numeric data so that
Extremely Clear =5
Very Clear =4
Somewhat Clear =3
Not So Clear =2
Not at All Clear =1To be clear, we don't want to show the numeric to the evaluator, just the text.
Currently, we use a complicated formula to calculate the data.3 votes -
Branching logic in printable form for admins.
Building forms with many branching questions groups can get confusing. It would be nice, as an admin, to be able to see how each question group is branched within a form without having to click on each one.

Branched question to be red when they have not been assigned rules.
Branched questions with incorrect question will be marked red. It would be for branched questions to be marked red if no rules have been assigned yet.

Pull Opportunity Info or Flag Questions into Follow Up Forms
When creating Follow Up forms, it would be a real time-saver, and lessen the likelihood of error, to be able to pull information or fields from the Applicant Opportunities section of the Universe into the follow up form. (Or even from the connected CSuite Scholarship.)
Currently, each opportunity we have has its own initial acceptance follow up form where the student must certify they still meet that scholarship's criteria, and we have to manually copy/paste that criteria into the follow up form from the Applicant Description section of the Opportunities page, or the scholarship description in CSuite.
To take it…

Date Question Type Formatting Options
I do see this was brought up in years past, but was hoping to renew interest in the topic. It would be great when using the Date question type to be able to select the format in which you would like that date provided. It would be great to be able to ask for a month and year, for example, especially when asking for degree conferral dates, where a specific day is often not known.

Increase number of columns in tables
To effectively use Tables as a shared question in a Follow Up (as stated in documentation, very helpful for Budget and ongoing grantee progress statements) - being limited to only 5 columns does not allow for multi-year grants especially
1 voteThank you for this feedback. We currently have the limitation to making sure tables easily appear on screens and print packers but are continuing to evaluate ways to expand this functionality.

Clone question
We really like the clone feature available when editing a table, and it would be helpful if this were available for all questions. Having to manually copy over the drop-down items and additional information is very time consuming.

Include Applicant/User Registration information as a shared question
It would be helpful for grant agreements to be able to have the organization and user registration information available to populate the agreement form. Otherwise they need to be entered again to have a stand-alone document.

Option to hide questions on forms that are no longer relevant
While I understand why you cannot delete question fields once an applicant or staff member has submitted a response on it, sometimes that question needs to be deleted moving forward and based on how we have set things up it is preferred to not create/copy a new process when we want to make deletions. It would be nice to be able to "toggle"/hide a question from the applicant/grant manager on forms when we no longer want them to be answered/used.

Ability to add attachments
Currently, the only way to provide a form to be completed is through links. I'd like to attach an excel spreadsheet that needs to be completed and uploaded by applicants. We have run into issues where links to forms break and it would be much simpler to provide the attachment within the application question.

Collapse blank table rows in packet PDFs
Currently, when I create a table that may have an unknown number of rows used (such as asking applicants to list the date, time, location of grant-funded events), I just have to guess at what might be the right number of rows to add. If an applicant only uses one row of 10 available, the application packet will still print all 10 rows and use up a lot of space. Can blank rows be collapsed in the application packet?
(Even better would be to allow applicants to add rows if needed, but I suspect that's more complicated.)

Better tables with predefined choices for columns.
Often I have a series of yes/no questions that might be easier or less intimidating to an applicant if they were in a single table. While I know that I can create that using a drop down menu, it would require less of the system, and potentially move faster if it were a choice for a column setting. The same concept (creating a column setting) would also be useful to number rows that data is entered in.

Custom Column Widths in Tables
Currently the columns in tables are all the same width, but there are use cases where it would make sense for one column to be wider than another.
For example, in our budget we have 5 columns - Expense, Request, Cash Match, In-Kind Match, and Calculation/Description. By my calculation if you have 5 columns only 33 characters are visible at one time. However, in our use case, 3 of the fields would not contain more than 7 characters (plus the characters for the column headings). Being able to resize those columns would free more real estate for fields where users…

Summary Column in Tables
I love the addition of tables and the summary row but I also would like to see a summary column so we can have totals automated on both ends of the table.
25 votesFor Summary Columns is "sum" the only function needed or would their be others?

Table-style questions: Allow calculations across more than one table question
We have a budget form with a table for Revenue and a table for Expenses. It would be great to be able to calculate the net (revenue minus expenses) without the applicant having to do math or cut-paste totals from the separate tables into a third table or field.

Score based on answers to questions on application.
Need the system to generate a score for the application based on how questions on the application are answered. For example: a GPA between 3.8-4.0 would receive 10 pts, 3.6-3.79 would receive 8 pts, etc. This could be a % score.

Sub-subtotals in Tables
The addition of the subtotal function within tables is great, but more is needed for it to be compatible with my workflow. In particular, I would like to be able to have a subtotal that captures other subtotals.
For example, I have one grant that has three funding categories, and one non-funding category. I can subtotal each of the three funding categories, but it won't let me then see a subtotal of those three added together, only the total of the three funding categories plus the non-funding category (which I also need, but I want to see both). Otherwise I…
