  1. It would be great to allow Follow-up Due Dates to be shared within Decision forms or future follow-ups. For example, within our Decision process and within our Grant Agreements (follow 1), we mention that grantees will need to complete a Final Report (follow-up 2). We would like to auto-populate the Due Date of the follow-up 2 in both the Decision process and the Grant Agreement so that grantees can sign-off that they acknowledge and commit to the final report.   2. It would be great if GLM could send multiple automatic reminders to grantees about follow-up due dates. We've found it helpful to give grantees a 30-day reminder about a follow-up, but would love it if GLM could send another automatic email a few days before the due date as well to make tracking easier for our grants administrator.

  3. We recently implemented a quarterly report for one of our grants - it would be great if there was a way to assign the same follow up more than once rather than creating a copy of the report for each quarter.

  4. It would be helpful when reviewing follow ups under a request to be able to tell which follow up you're currently viewing. We have to toggle between follow up sometimes during our review process, and the questions within the forms are mostly the same, the follow ups are tagged for the year it is to be submitted, though as you toggle back and forth it's hard to identify under which follow up you're under to provide approval/recommendations.

  5. I inadvertently Closed our scholarship recipients when I went through the old applications in order to update contact info. They have to be kept in approved to pull up by group; Closed applications can only be accessed one by one. The Close Request button is on the bottom right where it's common to find a button to leave a form/web page or an X on the upper right. Foundant has neither for users. You have to go to the Home icon, Requests & Users option, or the back arrow. It's not good user layout. Move the Close Request to the…

  7. Please provide the option to have the Process name appear in the follow-up view. Currently we have the same Follow-up form appearing from three different processes but have no idea which process each one is related to. This is only going to become a bigger issue as time goes by.

In line with Trust-Based Philanthropy, more and more foundations are completing verbal reporting with grantees, where the foundation staff completes the written follow-up form based on a conversation with a grantee. We have been doing this as an internal follow-up form, but would like the option for the grantee to view what we've typed into the form and confirm that it is accurate and complete before submitting the report and marking it as complete. Other than downloading each follow-up form packet as a PDF and emailing it to them for their manual feedback, is there a way to either:

  9. We pay grantees on a reimbursement basis. With some programs, this is a quarterly request, with others it is a single installment at completion of project.
    In either case, their budget will be collected in excel as part of the application. I would like that file to live with the specific project and be used to request reimbursements. Since file uploads are not shared questions, I don't have an easy way to help applicants do this.

  10. We would find it very useful to be able to assign a completed follow up to reviewers so that they could see the results of the grant they recommended for funding. Currently we have to export this info and merge it into a Word doc to share this with them.

  11. With the new feature that allows a grants administrator to select which auto-emails should even appear in the auto-email list, it seems to be sorting them in a random fashion. I would like the auto-emails list to be sorted by stage in the follow-up lifecycle. See the attached file for an illustration.

  12. I recall there is a feature where applicants can copy responses from one application to another if we turn this on. Would you consider adding a copy feature for follow ups so applicants who need to complete multiple follow ups can copy responses from one follow up to another?

  13. We would like to be able to preset the dates that each follow-up form will be assigned. We have forms that we only want to be completed within a certain period of time but would like to be able to set up the assignments when the Application is approved so we don't have to go back and assign the follow ups at a later date. This should also send the notification email when the form is therefore assigned and available and not at the time that we preset it up.

  14. It would be very helpful to have the evaluation option available in the follow-up phase like the LOI and application phases. We use follow-up forms for reporting and having the option to add an evaluation to a follow-up form would be a great way for our team to save grantee report review notes within Foundant. (We currently save notes in Word and upload to the documents section, but having a built in feature to evaluate reports would be much better.)

  15. It would be helpful if you could create evaluator print packets after you have assigned your evaluators. Right now you can only batch create them BEFORE you've assigned them which isn't helpful. I want to be able to create application packets for evaluators if I need to (eg they are late or having trouble doing it themselves). It would also be helpful to be able to create packets of the top applications which you wouldn't know until after evaluations are done. You also can't create batch evaluation reports.

  16. For multi year scholarships, we have info we'll need from the student each subsequent year. Those follow ups now show in "drafts" but really, they are not in draft stage, they are upcoming or pending. It would be great to have those in their own bucket in the followup box on the dashboard so we can keep those separate from current/real time drafts we need to be aware of.

  18. It would be great to have the completed follow-ups more easily available from the Requests & Decisions page. Currently, from "Requests & Decisions" completed follow-ups are only accessible by choosing "Follow-Ups Assigned" and then selecting each individual request/organization. I think the narrower group of only follow-ups that have been completed would make workflow better for admins using this page to navigate different requests, as well as board members, evaluators or grant managers who want to view completed follow-ups. For us, there is currently no way for our board members to easily get to completed follow-ups on their own, without being…

  19. It's also about user roles and auto emails attached to F/U forms...

    We really need an additional user role for our regional directors. Our program managers (in the Grant Manager role) do 99% of the lift in GLM, but every so often we need to be able to bump a form up to a director. But our directors are also in the GM role, so everyone gets the same email. Our current work around is to assign the form to the director, but that doesn't always catch their attention.

  20. I would love a way to auto assign an internal follow up to the same officer that reviewed the application. Currently I manually assign an internal follow up form to the officer. It gets overwhelming when 20 follow ups come in during the day.
