searching for an organization named St. Vincent only returns results if the punctuation/special character is included. searching St Vincent should also return the results.

Ability to sort in the Documents folder
I see that someone else had suggested this but the idea was archived. In the documents folder, there is no way to reorder the documents. It puts them in order of the date they are uploaded. It gets a bit confusing when adding documents later into the process and they are out of sequence. The only way to rectify is to delete the documents and reupload them in the order desired. But then if something else is submitted that should be kept such as background information prior to the approval or denial of the request, they're out of sequence again.…

Assigning Evaluators
I would love to have a search option when evaluators are assigned. We have over 150 potential evaluators so it would be helpful to be able to search by name instead of scrolling to find the evaluator's name.

Searching for a former name of an orgnization - not DBA
Here is a common scenario. An org is fiscally sponsored by a church and then gets their own 501c3 status and changes their name. In foundant, we would update the org name to say (formerly XYZ Church). When evaluators see the church name - they often ask whether services are limited to members of that church even when the org has nothing to do with the church (e.g., a food bank). Additional Custom Columns
We really need more than 2 custom columns to be able to accurately sort and filter Applications both for Evaluator assignment by the administrators, and for our Evaluators doing the rating. Even just one more custom column would make a big difference. I've requested elsewhere, but in case there is a connection, we would also appreciate the reverse, which is to hide the default columns we don't need - or at least the Score column, which is just very confusing given the way our process works, so we do the best we can to hide it, but it is very…

Quick access to recent searches
It would be great to have quick access to recently searched or recently modified/accessed requests or organizations. I find myself in and out of a lot of requests in one day and it would be nice to have quicker access to recent ones without having to re-search each time. I saw someone posted this previously with 9 votes but it was archived. Thanks.

On the organization search page, could there be a section at the bottom with recent searches, or perhaps your own personalized list of organizations you want to keep handy?

EIN Prepopulating Organization Names
Would it be possible in the future for applicants to type in their EIN and it would prepopulate their Organization Name? It would help ensure that there aren't differences in spelling/format between organization names and would get rid of some steps for our merge template creation!

Set defaults to have Active and Inactive profiles searched in GLM/SLM
When searching for users on GLM/SLM, the "Active" box is automatically pre-checked for "User Status".
Adding a setting so that both Active and Inactive are pre-checked when searching for users would be helpful so that you don't forget to check "Inactive".

Tag System for Organizations
Similar to a CRM, or email software.. Being able to add "tags" to an organization would be extremely helpful.
Some grant opportunities are specific to certain organizations based on location, the cause they represent (arts, animals, economic development, etc.) or possibly the size of organization/if they are new.. and so on.
Utilizing a tag system would allow us to search for these characteristics quickly and batch email vs. going through our entire organization list and hand-picking who is eligible every time we announce a new grant opportunity.
One argument is to send each opportunity to everyone on our list, but…

Organization searches - back to results function
I know this question has been raised before, but I can't tell how long ago, so I am resubmitting to indicate continued interest. It would be helpful in Organization Search to have a Back to Search Results function. If I do an organization search with multiple possible matches, I have to redo the search if I happen to pick the wrong one the first time.

put a search box on the dashboard
A large percentage of the time, when I log in, I'm doing so because I want to check something about a particular organization. I wish that there were a search box on the dashboard - this seems like a standard thing for most websites. Right now, there's an extra step in that I have to go to the organization search page.
