GLM: Block new application if grant report isn't complete
Block new application from applicant who hasn't completed a grant report on a previous grant award. This would encourage applicants to complete their grant report and provide another level of due diligence built into GLM

Thank you for the idea.
Would you hope this is implemented across all processes?

Due to the timelines of our applicaiton, follow up and disbursement, I would like to give a warning instead of blocking.

+1 for per-process settings and applicant warning. This would help communicate our policies in a friendly manner.

Agreed. When creating a new process, having the ability to toggle on a "Prevent the creation of a new LOI/Application if a pending/overdue follow-up exists for the following existing processes" option (with all existing processes available with checkboxes) would be amazing. We have some processes where orgs can apply no matter their participation in another grant, but some processes that are very specific around how often they can reapply.

This feature would be helpful across all processes. Currently, during vetting of a grant request, if we find that a group has a Past Due grant report, it results in an automatic decline. It would be helpful to reinforce our grant terms if applicants were unable to apply for other grant programs while one shows Past Due.
Applicants are made aware of this requirement in each of the grant program terms and conditions. However, if a group has a pending Follow-Up (grant report) that is not yet past due, we allow and will consider new requests from other grant programs.
Implementing this feature could reinforce accountability and help applicants stay current with their reporting requirements. -

Would love this if it was "overdue" follow ups (rather than just any outstanding/upcomming follow ups) - we have no problem with multiple grant requests but only if they're in good standing.

Would be a great feature but would like to be able to turn this feature on and off.

This is critical so organizations are not considered for a new grant if they were not in compliance on a former grant.

If the software could alert applicants that they have a follow-up due in another process before they begin an application, that would be really helpful. We probably wouldn't block them from starting a new application but would really love for them to be given notice.
Similarly, we would like applicants to receive an alert if any fields in their organization info are missing.

Interesting idea and I could see the value in it. However, because we share a platform with two other foundations, I would not want this to be a sitewide change because they run their operations very differently than we do and it could cause them issues.
