  1. For the new look on Profile, the Details tab should be the first tab (not the 3rd tab) and the default tab open/highlighted. Then Relationships, Engagement, Files and Notes.

    Designations: Those that are enabled, should all display at the top (currently the list is static, so there could be some designations that do not apply and then some that do apply). Confusing to look at.

    Custom Fields: Should align directly under the Details box or the Phones box. Right now there is a bunch of space between Details and Custom fields (when you have address, emails and a bunch of…

  2. In the new changes to sandbox for profiles. Wish that when you are looking at a household - you can see the list of household members closer to the top of the screen. You have to do a lot of scrolling if that profile has profile types on it in order to see if there are household members. Having to do that scrolling is taking A LOT of time. It would be much more helpful to have the household members in the box at the top with the household. That way you can click on the link for the individual…

  3. It would be awesome if we could create our own address type. I understand there are several on the dropdown for business, home, etc. But it would be nice to create a separate address type if possible. We ACH our designated grants June 1st every year... but before sending them out we like to address them a letter/email to notify them of the ACH and see if they need to update their ACH information. I would like to be able to put an "ACH Address" on the profile when the address is different for the ACH vs. where we would…

  5. I want to be able to search by "Smith, Joe" without having to type in "Smith, Mr. Joe". The profile search used to let me put in "Smith, Joe" but since the latest update it no longer does, and when you are trying to link a profile or search for profile from donation page it doesn't ignore prefix there either. I don't always know whether the person is a Ms. Miss, Mrs. etc, so it consumes time looking through the list for the correct profile.

    5/3/2023: Profiles have a new a look with this enhancement.  Foundant is excited to take so many of the User submitted ideas from idea lab and make them happen in the software.  Our highest voted idea lab submission was the ability to identify the main profile data regardless of the designation.

    The profile summary includes the information needed when working with constituents. The primary profile data will now be static at the top of the page regardless of the designation page that is being viewed.  This summary includes an image, primary contact information, last donation date and pronouns.  With this new layout there will be an icon next to the profiles name at the header.  This will allow a User to easily identify an individual, household, or organization record.   Images have also been added to the top header box for easy reference as well.   6. Does anyone know why anytime you put in a new profile that it wants to sync it with GLM profiles. This sets up for more error on my end, since I don't have anything to do with GLM and takes more time with more steps. Am I the only one that feels this way, or is there a way to shut off this feature?

  7. It would be great if we could make profiles inactive from a report or list of profiles. We sent out a file to identify deceased persons. It's been a minute since that has been done and we received back more than 1200 as deceased. It's going to take quite a bit of time to manually touch every one of those profiles to mark them as, at the minimum, inactive. If inactivate was an option for bulk updates, that would be wonderful. It would need to be protected somehow so just everyone didn't have the ability to make mass profiles inactive.

  8. When you are merging two profiles because of a duplicate it would be great if the StripeID customer link field was populated on that page so you know which profile the stripe payment is attached to so that information is not lost.

  10. When utilizing the "print envelope" feature within a person or organization's profile, all of the listed addresses populate to select from...even the inactive ones. To be sure, one must use the back button to confirm the primary. Please list the primary address as the top option and PLEASE do not list inactive addresses. This could save time and avoid many slip ups when mailing via USPS (sharing for a friend...) Thanks :)

  11. Pronoun Field

    We need a place to capture pronouns on profiles. This must be an editable field - not a drop down menu, as pronoun preferences and combinations may not match what we would anticipate in advance. I consider this request of critical importance.

    It is a sign of respect and care to use a person's proper pronouns - we know from scientific research that mis-gendering people by using incorrect pronouns can have a serious impact on their mental health.

  13. It would be wildly helpful if the last grant date was an option for reports on grantees. In other words, you could pull a profile report that would also tell you the last date that the profile received a grant.

  14. Can we please add an option to select email type (home, business, personal, custom) in order to neatly organize a contact's various emails? This is extremely important to be able to communicate per a client's preferences. Many CRM's also allow a "custom type" where you can modify the type name. Thank you!

  15. We are not clear how the sort order is established for Org Roles / Profile Links. We would like to see Org Roles sorted with "Active" Org Roles followed by Inactive.

    For example, we add links to our current and former board members. We would like to see our current ("active") board members at the top.

    Profiles: Enhanced checking the deceased checkbox to have functionality. Now when marking a profile deceased, it will also make the profile inactive, mark the address, emails, phone as inactive, and the designations: vendor, student, and grantee.  Clients will also be able to use bulk update for the deceased field.  (Released May 2024)

  20. When creating profiles, it's very tedious that you can't enter the type of address or type of phone number and have to create then edit again.

    This is especially tedious when you're uploading 200+ profiles using the profile import and have to manually go to each profile to set the address or phone number type. At the very least, having it be a field for importing profiles would be nice.
