Making someone deceased should automatically mark them do not call, email, mail
When marking someone deceased - the system should automatically mark them and any linked household as do not call, email, or mail. We are spending alot of time updating this.
Profiles: Enhanced checking the deceased checkbox to have functionality. Now when marking a profile deceased, it will also make the profile inactive, mark the address, emails, phone as inactive, and the designations: vendor, student, and grantee. Clients will also be able to use bulk update for the deceased field. (Released May 2024)

Will profiles previously marked deceased be automatically updated to do not call/do not mail/do not email?

I would prefer only the deceased individual marked as do not call/do not mail,
Please do not include the household and connected individuals -

This should be OPTIONAL, we would not want the HH to be do not mail in all cases. Deceasing is an individual process for most foundations, please don't make this a system wide update/default.

The caution I have for this is when the surviving spouse still utilized the email for the deceased individual. Marking that email as Do Not Email will automatically mark that email on the surviving spouse profile that way as well. If this gets implemented, be sure to have in the Notes that if that email is on another profile, the email needs to be deleted from that deceased profile.

This would be helpful but for profiles that still require tax reporting, we would like the option that tax reporting doesn't depend on the profile being marked as inactive and no mail.

My Concern would be if an elderly person is living with another Family Member. I think it would be good to mark deceased INDIVIDUALS as do not call, email or mail, but NOT HOUSEHOLDS.
