Allow copying of an opportunity
Once created, allow an opportunity to be copied. Sometimes the same person documents a bequest expectancy to several beneficiaries. This functionality lives elsewhere in the system and would apply nicely to entering opportunities.
4 votesOpportunities: Added the ability to Copy an Opportunity. Copy functionality will copy Stage, Type, Target Date, Solicited Amount, Fund, Letter Template, Connected Profiles, Professional Advisors, Beneficiary Profile, Primary Assignee, Secondary Assignees. Once a user has selected Copy, a new opportunity will be created and the user will be taken to the newly created opportunity. Things to Note: Copy will not copy Committed amounts, since that number can be tied to pledges, donations, and promises.

List cart - change button names
Seems many of us are having problems with people leaving things in the cart, rather than actually submitting them.
A very quick suggestion that may solve some of the problem: Instead of having the button on the Unsubmitted Grant Requests read "Review and Submit Grant Requests" why not rename the label to simply say "Review Grant Requests." Many of our donors have told us that they thought it was one action and that by clicking it, they had reviewed AND submitted it.

List Carts Report
Create custom report option that includes unsubmitted grant carts, fund name, steward, grant details, and requested by, so stewards can receive automated report emails prompting them to follow up with donors who have unsubmitted carts.
And in the interim, please add Fund Steward to the exiting Fund Advisor > "List Carts" area so we can swiftly divvy these up for follow up.
Thank you! - TCF

Capacity to tag additional profiles in notes
Capacity to share notes between profiles would be awesome.
Example 1: Fundraising visit with a particular business. Visit notes could go on the business profile, but the note could "tag" additional profiles, such as the business staff members present at the meeting.
Example 2: We utilize notes to capture obituary information. Family members could be "tagged" on the note in order to share the information across profile records, rather than repeating the obit note several times. One entry, several tags = awesome!
20 votesWe’ve added a new feature that allows users to copy an existing Note to other records.
How It Works:
On a Note record, a new “Copy” option is now available in the left-hand menu. Selecting Copy opens a Search input screen where users can enter identifiers such as: Profile, Fund, Opportunity, Campaign, Transaction ID. This search uses the same Global Search capabilities already available in the system. Once an item is selected, the system will automatically create a new Note on that record with the same content. Users can continue to add the same note to other items by selecting Copy again.
Why This Change Was Made:
To improve data hygiene by avoiding manual duplication or deleting errors. To provide a simpler, more efficient workflow for associating the same note across multiple records.

Notes & Files for Grant Catalog
It would be great to have the ability to add a note or a file to the grant catalog. There may be information that is pertinent to a specific catalog.

Link one note to multiple profiles or funds
Often times, we have to copy the same note to multiple profiles or funds because either there were multiple contact people for one fund or there was one contact person for multiple funds. Right now the only way to show up in multiple places is to copy the note.
