Add ability to link Opportunity to a Profile that served as a referral
We would like to link the profile of the Professional Advisor and/or Firm who brought a donor to our organization within the Opportunity. Currently we are using a Custom Field (Text) but would like the ability to link the opportunity directly to the profile of the referral source.

🔄 New Feature: Assign Multiple Profiles to a Single Opportunity
Overview:
We’ve introduced the ability to assign multiple profiles to a single opportunity through a new field called Connected Profile, Secondary Assignee, Professional Advisor, Connected Profiles, Additional Beneficiary. This enhancement improves tracking and visibility across both Opportunity and Profile records.
✅ Opportunities Enhancement- A new Connected Profile field has been added to the Opportunity record.
- Users can now associate multiple additional profiles with a single opportunity.
- This allows for greater flexibility and accuracy in managing complex or shared opportunities.
- The Secondary Assignee field is multi-select.
- All assigned users will have visibility.
- This enhancement improves visibility, accountability, and teamwork on shared Opportunities.
- A new field called Professional Advisor has been added to the Opportunity record
- This field is located under the Connected Profile section.
- Supports multiple profiles
- Enables better tracking and association of professional advisors with each opportunity.
- A new field Additional Beneficiary has been added to the Opportunity record
- Supports multiple profiles
- Enables the ability to track more than one beneficiary on an opportunity
- On the Relationship tab of a Profile, any Opportunities where the profile is listed as a Connected Profile will now appear.
- This change provides better visibility into all the opportunities tied to a profile, not just primary ones.
- A new Opportunity Connected Profile Report has been added.
- On standard Opportunity reports:
- The Connected Profile field displays as an array (multi-value field).
- On the Opportunity Connected Profile Report:
- Connected Profiles are displayed in separate columns for clearer analysis and filtering.
- A new Opportunity Secondary Assignees Report has been added.
- On standard Opportunity reports:
- The Secondary Assignees field displays as an array (multi-value field).
- On the Opportunity Secondary Assignees Report:
- Secondary Assignees are displayed in separate columns for clearer analysis and filtering.
- A new report type has been created: Opportunity Advisor.
- Allows users to group and report on Opportunities by associated Professional Advisors
- A new report type has been created: Opportunity Additional Beneficiary
- Allow users to group and report on Opportunities by Additional Beneficiary

Also with ability to track the organization the external advisor was working for at the time of the referral.
Use Case: Amy Advisor referred eight clients that opened funds when she was with Morgan Stanley; referred 3 when she moved to Fidelity; has not referred a client since she jumped to Schwaab.
This would allow me to create a report of the active humans who refer their clients to us, as well as a list of the organizations that refer clients to us.

This would be amazing. We track advisor referrals and fundholder referrals and it would be great to link to the advisor which ones they referred. If we could have a profile link to opportunities where we can define the types of opportunities link that would allow flexibility for different customers to use the language that they use for referrals. And to be able to use a custom report on that opportunity profile link to do a count of how many opportunities each profile referred.

This would be super helpful, we are moving our Salesforce information over and it would be nice to not have to create custom fields.
