It would be beneficial to have the ability to capture ACH information securely as part of the fund set-up.

In addition, it would be important to have a queue or holding pen for new funds and changes so staff can do due diligence before the fund is created. This would keep fake funds from being created.

Yes! Here is another use-case:
It would be ideal if this feature/role enabled third-party nominators to submit a nomination on behalf of a student or individual, which then serves as the first stage of a multi-step process — similar to a Letter of Intent (LOI). Once submitted, the nomination advances the nominee into the pipeline, where they take ownership of all subsequent steps: the full application, award forms, and any follow-up materials.
This would be particularly valuable for competitive awards (such as "Person of the Year" recognition) or scholarships where candidates are nominated rather than self-identified.
The nominator's role ends at submission; from that point forward, the nominated individual is the primary applicant, tracked and managed through the system independently of the nominator.
In short: The nomination functions as Stage 1. Successful nominations unlock Stage 2 — a full application owned and completed by the nominee.
