  1. 1- Reissues: A clear way to mark a grant that was reissued. Including a note for ACH or a new check number. Currently we don’t see it in the records, and it is hard to give accurate information

  2. Please make the grant_ letter_ email_ body template in site custom content HTML compatible! It appears every template is html compatible except this one.

    Without the compatibility, you are unable to create line breaks or format any text which is very frustrating.

  3. Just tried copying a grant in CSuite - sweet! However, once you copy it comes up with the old grant date and the old pay schedule date. It should copy to current dates. Also, the expense account does not transfer over. And, as we now have custom fields, any custom fields too - thanks!

  4. Could you please modify the grant description field so that it automatically wraps text when adding or editing descriptions?

    Currently, the field allows up to 255 characters, but it's challenging to verify entries because we can't view the entire description at once. It would greatly improve usability if the description text wrapped within the field during data entry, allowing us to see the complete description without having to scroll. Once the grant is saved, we can read the entire description in one field but still have to scroll when editing.

  5. Please include template fields for recurring grants: start date, interval, number of occurrences, next occurrence date so that we can send accurate grant letters with the checks. Currently we have to manually edit each grant letter for a recurring grant to add language that tells the recipient about the recurring details.

  7. Ability to add a grantee as a beneficiary to a fund more for more than once would be helpful. We have several funds in which the same grantee is designated for two very different purposes and different percentages. The current text field isn't large enough to account for multiple purposes, and having two separate line items would create the individual spendable grants when creating them in bulk, which would be extremely helpful.

We like having the option to have more text in the long description for grant catalog requests, but sometimes this leads to very lengthy descriptions (more than our donors likely want to view as they scroll through the catalog). It would be great if we had the ability to set a character limit.

  9. CSuite is not logging anything that happens on the “Edit Pay Schedule” page (….\grant\schedule?grant_id=xxxx) for a Grant record.

    Is there any way that you can capture changes to the payment lines on a grant that are made on the "Edit Payment Schedule" page and record them in the log file for the grant?

    Not sure how reasonable this request is, but right because changes are not captured, the log does not always line up with what is on the grant record for payment details.

  10. When posting a grant, the system should check the balance of the fund no matter what the grant date or posting date is. Currently the system only checks the fund balance and gives a warning message if the grant date and date it's being posted are the same. If the grant date is in the future (as all of ours are), the system will allow you to post grants over the balance in the fund. As we are not posting grants on the same day as the grant date, it would be ideal if the system would give a warning…

  11. When importing a batch of grants, you should be able to specify an expense account at the time of import. Currently you can't, so if you import a huge batch of grants that needs a specific expense account, you have to go through and individually edit each grant to the correct expense account anyway, which defeats the purpose of being able to batch import grants.

  12. Hello - it would be wonderful if a copied grant would automatically change the Grant Date and the Payment Date to the new date. Otherwise the copy function is really only partially helpful. Thank you!

  13. It would be extremely helpful to our workflow to have the Grant Administrator included as a column. If blank, this lets the team know the grant needs further work before it can be paid. Without this column there is no way to tell if an administrator has reviewed the grant.

  14. It would be useful to have more interval options than are available for recurring grants. In particular, we would like to have an 'every other year' option.

    An archived idea once suggested a 'twice a month' interval, so other foundations do occasionally wish to set up recurring grants outside of standard intervals.

It would be nice for the Grant Document to be available to print prior to Approving and Posting the Grant...this would come in handy if the individual that typically signs the grant document will be out when the grant is actually paid. This way the document is signed and ready to be enclosed with the check payment

  16. Currently Grant Service Area is a dropdown option and a user can only select one option. However, we currently use Grant Service Area as individual counties and a grantee may serve more than one county. it would be extremely helpful for reporting and tracking to have this field as a multiple choice instead of restricting to one option.

  17. Our fund holders love the grant notify email (confirming the grants they have submitted) however many have asked for more details. They would like to have Grantee address included to confirm that the correct location was selected. They would also like to see the amount formatted to dollars.

  19. We would like to see the Affiliate/Supporting organization or division field from the fund details appear in the grants.

    We need to be able to recognize the funds from our affiliates in order to process the grants using the correct payment type and award letter.

  20. It would be helpful to have the envelope function in grants to add the full contact person name when printing envelopes. Also when exporting the grant data it would be helpful to have the full contact name to the export for merging envelopes to print not just salutation. In my export you can see Salutation and Label and the label on an org profile the label uses the org name. Every time I export I have to go research the persons full name for envelope.
