Improve CSuite grant copy function with current grant date and pay schedule dates (& other fields)
Just tried copying a grant in CSuite - sweet! However, once you copy it comes up with the old grant date and the old pay schedule date. It should copy to current dates. Also, the expense account does not transfer over. And, as we now have custom fields, any custom fields too - thanks!

These updates would be really valuable! A lot of the functionality of copying a grant is lost when you have to manually update the grant date, payment schedule, and custom fields. We have a good amount of custom fields and many of our grants are multi-fund awards, so it takes a lot of time to manually update these fields.

I just learned this also that the current date, as well as the payment schedule etc, do not copy over. I did change the date (the donation copy changes to current date) but did not change the payment date and the grant wouldn't post. The copy function is a great time saver but to be totally efficient, it should copy over more information than it currently is!
