Custom Field Word Wrapping
It would be helpful if custom text fields would word wrap similar to the way the Notes area does. We would like to use a custom text field on funds but don't like how it stretches the fund information table out to the width of the screen. When that happens it then pushes down the Fund Advisors, Grant Approval, and Fund Profiles information below the Fund information instead of on the right side.

Fund History graphics - option to have a column chart in the portal that shows total grant dollars per year rather than by month. Total grants at a glance!

Edit all fields in a grant before saving
It would be great to be able to edit all fields in a grant and then save instead of having to edit one field, save, then edit another field and then save again.

denials or zero balance grants on DAF
rather than cancelling a grant, it would be helpful to be able to deny DAF requests and have those flow through to CSuite for tracking purposes. Auditor recommends we track this data to show that donors do not have undue control of their funds...doesn't happen often but it does happen

Add Next: Review and Submit Grant Requests
Add NEXT: Review and Submit Grant Requests on the New Grant Request page when there is a grant in the Unsubmitted Grant Requests "cart." And, make the NEXT: Review and Submit Grant Requests with a blue background so it draws attention that this needs to be done.

Grant Letters
The new Document Tab in Grants shows documents that are in there ready to be printed/emailed or marked as sent. Can we have a bulk edit to mark all documents sent, even for ones that are not included in a batch? We don't batch print everything so it makes it more cumbersome to have to go into each document to mark it as sent.

Description Field
This was posted last year from someone and I'm reposting because this drives me bonkers. Please consider an update for this.
After you post and pay a grant, there is an editable description field in the transaction id. It would be great if you were able to enter a description that showed up in this field before you post/pay the grant.
For example, an internal grant transfer shows a description as "internal grant transfer." I have to go into the trans id after the grant is paid to edit this description to reflect where the grant was paid from and…

anonymity
For funds that have grants marked as anonymous allow an override on a specific grant. Fund holders occasionally want a grantee to know they have sent the grant, like to their church, but all other grants to be anonymous. Now we have to write their names on the check stubs so the organization knows who made the contribution.

Email notification of Grant
When we process a grant, we notify the grantee of a forthcoming grant via email. It would be helpful to receive an error message back via email that the email was rejected, similar to email apps send a rejection email back to the sender.

History on Fund Statements
We need to be able add the Total Donations and Total Grants/Disbursements to our Fund Statements. This is such a great tool to show the impact an endowment has had over the life of the fund. This is the info that is shown by selecting "History" when viewing Fund information. It is great for me to see, but would be more impactful for Donors to see their impact.

Recurring grants - add # of recurrences to export
For report options on recurring grants, please add the number of recurrences to the export. We don't have a way to double check a group of recurring grants without looking at each one individually. Also, once a calendar end date is implemented, please add that as both a column for the export and something that can be filtered on.

P.S. This can be accomplished by creating a Recurring Grant custom report which has all of the recurring fields available.

grant summary
Currently the Grant Summary for each grantee does not include grant amounts that are part of a multi-distribution grant until all the distributions are sent. If a check is sent, that amount should be reflected in the year it is sent whether the check is stand alone or part of a larger grant. Please figure out a way to include these distributions in the Summary so that we are clear about how much a grantee has received from our funds.

Batch multiple vouchers for multifund grants
When a multifund grant is created the system separates it into line items that requires you to click on "create" for each line when creating an accounts payable voucher for AP to write one check. It would be very beneficial if there was a way to select more than one line and create the vouchers in batch. It would not be as beneficial if you had to select them all because sometimes we don't want all of the lines to be paid at that time due to cash flow considerations. Please see attached.

Refund Grant via Electronic Transfer
The Refund Grant option only allows for cheque refunds. There needs to be an electronic refund method in the refund voucher. As it is now, it is only cheque which then goes into the till.

Grants: completing grants
If a grant has multiple payments coming from it, I would like to be able to "complete" the portion of the grant that has been paid and the check has cleared the bank.
Similarly, in SLM, if a student has a multi-year grant, I would like to complete (for the current year) any follow-ups rather than leaving them open and continually have to remind myself that I can't set certain items as complete. Once we have been on SLM for several years, I imagine the follow-up Submitted list is going is going to be very long.6 votesHello, Thanks for your time in the idea lab. Expand Grants Document Bucket
It would be very helpful if the check and grant ID hyperlinks in the documents bucket followed through the whole process. After clicking on "process documents" the check ID loses the hyperlink, and the grant ID is no longer viable. There is a lot of back-and-forth checking each letter to go to and from the grant record to documents processing.

Allow "early" posting of recurring grant payments
It would be helpful if we could create a payment on a recurring grant at any time rather than having to wait until the payment date. Occasionally we'll have to do a payables run the day before the usual day (so I can have days off once in a while that are independent of payables dates!), so I would like to be able to create a recurring grant payment when I need to without having to change the dates on the recurring grant itself.

Grant coding for expenditure responsibility grants - more coding options please!!
Please provide more grant coding options - sub codes are fine, we just need to track multiple things at once so sub codes would be ideal. One of the main items that we need to track are grants made with expenditure responsibility. Thank you!

Map GLM/SLM Evaluator profiles to/from CSuite
Most of our evaluators in GLM and SLM are in CSuite already. It would be nice if these people could be mapped so that contact information syncs. It would also be good information to have in CSuite that the person is a scholarship or grant evaluator
