  1. We would love to present investment returns netted with custodial fees for our internal financials and fund statement financial view groupings. This is the proper presentation per FASB. However, the system does not allow for a mix of revenue and expense accounts in a financial view grouping. Changing the classification of the fee expense account to a revenue account is counterintuitive.

    An idea would be to change the type options to Assets, Liabilities, Net Assets, Income Statement to allow the user to define a mix of revenue and expense accounts as they need.

  2. In Cash Management - Balance Swap - Add Filter, when you select "From Account" or "To Account" and then checkboxes, a "Select All" or "Select None" option needs to be added AND/OR a Reverse Filter option in order to select only some of the accounts listed at a time. When you select "From Fund", a filter by Fund group, subgroup and/or division option would be great! Also, an ability to save the report as filtered would be appreciated. THANKS!

  3. Audit reports: a cash disbursement report that shows fund name and short name, g/l account name and number, date invoice posted to g/l, date paid, payee, amount paid...

    A general ledger report that shows beginning balance for each g/l account, all transactions listed by date and ending balance for that g/l account for the entire general ledger.

  5. If we could add another level of sorting to the audit report I could use just this report for our year end audit fund summary. Now I have to choose to either sort/group by division/investment strategy or group then do a vlookup to get the other piece. It's so close to perfect!

  6. Allow bulk add of one advisor to multiple funds so a staff member can be added to a group of funds to confirm all fund advisors are listed and to review what they will see on the portal when they log in.

  7. It would be nice to have a +Show Account when looking at financial statements in a financial view, similar to the way +Show Fund or +Show SubAcct are available options.
    It would show how account balances roll-up to the views, and would assist when details are needed at the account level for budgeting or projection purposes.

  8. Reports for 990. Create a way to use the CSuite system for a complete accounting with all of the financial information to prepare the 990 return. There needs to be a way to include basic 990 required information like the gross amount of sales of assets and cost basis as required on the return. Right now the only part that is even in the system is based on the donations of assets, and there's not a gains and losses report to extract that part of the information, let alone the cost and proceeds of sales of all other investment assets.

  9. Please add the Spendable balance to the Audit Report. This would then become a quick tool to spot check against fund statement information.

  10. I found a previous idea saying this had been implemented, however, I am hoping FundID can be added to the audit report - having to use lookup functions based on fund name can be difficult, as CSuite has trouble with a few of our funds which have quotation marks used in the fund name.

  11. The full fund name is not fully visible on any financials where the fund name may be lengthy. We cannot determine one fund from one another. We would like either the full fund name and/or the Short Name to show on reports in the financials area. We provide these reports to outside organizations and the reports are not clear which fund is which. See the attached as a basic example of one of our organizations.

  12. Have the option to include zero amounts on financial statements. Many of the reports cannot be used as presented in the database so they need to be exported into Excel and reformatted. It would be much easier if the rows were consistent report to report regardless of zero balances.

  13. Need to be able to build an allocation table that allocates a % based on the fund balance of a sub-set of funds.

    Use case: some expenses are allocated out to a group of funds, based on how much money the funds have in their fund over a period of time. Similar to revenue share functionality but only for a group of funds.

  14. Add filter option for functional expenses on the statement of activities report. We budget for the functional expense accounts separately and it would be great to have the option to run a budget to actual report for just one functional expense grouping.

  16. Add the fund group/subgroup/division, etc. fields as part of the raw export from financials. This would be so helpful when you need fund balance reports information but with the fund types.

  17. The balance sheet does not have an option to display by Month whereas the income statement does. There is a Month over Month option that does not provide all the months in sequence for the Balance Sheet. Please update the same option for the Balance Sheet.

  19. It would be nice to be able to collapse filters on the financial reports. Instead of listing all of the accounts or funds could there be a way to collapse those filters? We need to print this, and if the filters could be collapsed or not show on every first page when you print it from CSuite.... that would be helpful. I don't think the filters need repeated on every page... only the title of the reports.

  20. Have the ability to separate interfund activity into a separate column or grouping on the financial statements. The interfund activity artificially inflates the gift, grants, payable and receivable totals and must be backed out for audit purposes
