Till Deposit - Report Date
Please change the date on the Till Deposit report header to be the date of the deposit, not the date of creation of the deposit into CSuite. We frequently finalize donation entry in the till after the date of the deposit, and therefore don't enter the deposit until donations are completed and verified. Example: Till Deposit 563 - 5/18/20 should be "Till Deposit 563 - 5/12/20" when the deposit date was 5/12/20.

Unpost but don't delete a donation
When we unpost a donation, do not automatically delete it also (maybe have a flag that asks whether the user wishes to delete it or not). 99% of the time, when we unpost a donation, we simply need to fix something on it and re-post. This will significantly increase productivity, especially with Stripe payments that are now auto-posting the donation, much to our chagrin.

copy gift
It would be very useful to have a COPY function when creating gifts. Many times a batch of gifts is received on the same date, going to the same fund, so we'd just have to update the donor name & amount. This was available in FIMS and saves alot of time.

47 votesDonations: Enhanced donations with the ability to copy a donation once you select process. All fields are copied except for payment method, check number and donation date, which will default to today as normal donation form functionality. Donation Advisor is not copied because advisor is not set on a donation during initial entry. If it is an internal donation, the internal donation status will not be copied, instead it will just be a normal donation. Historical is not copied, so historical donations will get copied in as real donations that impact the general ledger.

show profile types in heading
Someone might have a personal profile and an organization profile. By including "Org Profile" in the gray bar, it would allow you to quickly see which profile you are viewing before adding a donation, editing or adding a campaign.
2 votes5/3/2023: Profiles have a new a look with this enhancement. Foundant is excited to take so many of the User submitted ideas from idea lab and make them happen in the software. Our highest voted idea lab submission was the ability to identify the main profile data regardless of the designation.
The profile summary includes the information needed when working with constituents. The primary profile data will now be static at the top of the page regardless of the designation page that is being viewed. This summary includes an image, primary contact information, last donation date and pronouns. With this new layout there will be an icon next to the profiles name at the header. This will allow a User to easily identify an individual, household, or organization record. Images have also been added to the top header box for easy reference as well. Connect Event Skin to Individual Ticket Pages
We set up a custom skin for a signature event. However, the individual ticket pages pull from the Donation Portal Style and skin, not the Event one. We would like to see those ticket pages pull from the Event skin.

The assigned type will drive different campaign functionality. A campaign categorized as events, will allow a user to create tickets, groups, and requests for the campaign. Marketing will be used if the campaign is intended to create a mailing list to communicate with donors and other constituents. Historical will be a way to move completed campaigns into a separate list for campaigns that are no longer being used by the foundation. Campaigns will still be managed by user defined categories and can be archived within the category list. Credit Card Fees
I would like to be able to pay credit card fees from more than one fund. We have funds with lots of online donations so rather than our Operations Fund being charged for all of these fees I would like the ability to have the fund the donation is going to pay for those credit card fees. Thank you

Would like fund advisors to be able to see donor names with gift date and address, but not the donation amount. Currently, the donor portal only allows you turn on/off the donation tab which includes everything.10 votes -
Editing Historical Donations
Currently, anyone with permission to edit an un-posted donation can edit historical transactions, including items such as the amount of the donation, which were imported on system conversion. This ability should instead be limited to users with permission to post and un-post donations. Currently historical donations from closed periods can be easily edited, causing a difference between the general ledger and donation reports.

donor portal donation report
I know a donation report can be exported from the donor portal, however, the donor addresses don't export. I've had some requests for this and had to pull the reports from CSuite and email. The fund advisor requested to be able to pull the donation report, along with donor contact information.

Option for Recurring Donations to Add an End Date
Some of our donors would like to stipulate an end period for their donation. This would be specifically helpful for us internally as we have a giving circle that allows for members to pay in installments for their membership (i.e., $125 / quarter for a annual membership of $500)

Donation Date Locked after Posting
Donation date should be locked down as soon as the donation is posted to ensure the listing of gifts for a given period ties to the general ledger. Currently, donation date can be modified after the donation is posted which means the donation date may not match when it is reflected in the general ledger. A change in donation date should require the donation to first be unposted and then reposted to ensure proper cutoff.

Add image to Fund
Add image to fund for viewing on fund donation page
So often, a photo tells the story. Most online giving sites have space for an image to accompany a story.
As a Community Foundation, we often receive gifts given to uphold the legacy of a loved one. We would like the ability to upload an image for each fund.

Can 'Donate Page' terminology match
On the Donate page... The "tab" says "Donate to A Fund" and then under the page header, before it lists the funds you can donate to it says "Donate to Fund". Can these match?

letters
It would be great if we could change the font of the signature line on donation TY letters. We send letters via email quite often, but can't change the font on the signature to look more like a "signed name" than just the typed name.

Remove Tribute Notification Address Requirement
Remove the requirements on entering an address for tribute notification. Most of the time the donor does not know the address, so we should not halt their donation if they don't know it or make them somehow find it. Not a good experience for the donor!
14 votes8/2/2023: Tributes: In order to manage tributes more efficiently, a new workflow has been designed for Tributes.
The Tribute list view is now a custom report with the ability to sort each column and have the ability to apply filters, save filtered lists, export, email and load for future use. On the left hand menu, there is also a new Delete Unused menu item. This will allow clients to delete any unused tributes that do not have donations attached to the tribute or if the tribute does not have associated notify information. If the notify address or email information is not completed, the tribute information will move to a non-notify tribute field. This will allow clients to retain the information about the tribute on the donation in a text field.
