  1. We would like to have the name of the stock autofill in the "Description" field. Not the # of shares and ticker symbol as they have their own separate fields. We have to manually type in the Name of the Stock as we use it to populate on our tax receipt letters.

  2. Add Middle Name, Suffix, Salutation, Mailing Label, and Recognition Name fields to the donation import template. This will alleviate some of the manual work needed on profiles after a donation import.

We would like to email our yearly tax receipts to donors, but if a profile doesn't have an email the bulk job doesn't complete and all of the profiles without emails are listed so we can add an email to the profile to them run the job again for emailing receipts. In many cases we don't have the donor's email (when they mail a check for example). It would be great if the job would complete and send to those with an email and then create an 'exception report' for those without an email so we can mail those receipts…

  4. Would Foundant consider working with a third party vendor like "Double the Donation"(
    https://doublethedonation.com/corporate-matching-gift-programs/)
    to assist with Matching Gifts? The goal would be a seamless process on the Giving Hub. See the following example:

  5. In the Onlinedonationemail_body section, I am not able to send emails that address the donor by name because there are no available fields to pull.

    So, for quite some time, I was sending emails addressed to "Dear {name}" - silly me! It would be great if that field actually worked and I could address my donors by name. We are doing all that we can to build relationships and names are important! For now, I'll have to go "generic", which really isn't fundraising best practice.

  6. When home Home/Donations/Recurring donations - a list of recurring donations is listed. However, it doesn't show the FUND the donation will be applied to on that screen (or when you export the list), I find it frustrating as our recurring donations list is growing. A post about it was archived. I hope to get some traction with this one!

  8. The Donation 'Display' permission allows a user to click [sent] [clear] in the Tax Receipt field enabling them to 'edit' the record. This should not be allowed when the user group only has 'Display' permission.

  9. When listing open pledges at the top of the Donation page, the Fund Name should be included with the other information. This would be especially helpful if a donor has more than one open pledge and/or if a donor is making a gift to a fund other than the one(s) they have open pledges for.

  10. Greater Milwaukee has enabled Donation Review in donation settings. They would like the option to exclude stripe gifts from needing the additional review. Because Stripe gifts are automatic, there is no need for them to be in the regular review process. Having to filter and approve all of the Stripe gifts is just an extra step that doesn’t add any value.

  11. Currently, we always have to unreconcile bank statements in order to make gift adjustments. That’s an unwieldy and problematic process. One proposed workaround is to make negative donations, but that requires 2 new gifts that have to go through a whole new creation/review process. What’s more concerning is that negative donations would be forever visible on the donor portal, as if we moved money from their fund. We really need a way to cleanly make gift adjustments.

  12. Currently a user is able to delete a historical donation, there is NO pop up or confirmation to delete BEFORE the record is blown away! YIKES! Please add a confirmation similar to deleting a historical grant, thank you!

  13. Please provide a way for us to edit/delete an automatic pledge adjustment. There is no way to do that in the system, and if you accidentally miskey something that causes an automatic pledge adjustment, it's permanently recorded. This not only messes up the GL details, but it also creates an inaccurate pledge total amount that shows up in the system.

    Case in point, we accidentally added an extra number on a payment which then increased a pledge by $2.5 million. It was a simple mistake, pure accident. However, we're stuck now in perpetuity with the wrong figure showing on this…

  14. It would be nice to assign yearly tax receipts based on funds similar to regular tax receipts. We only send yearly receipts to our annual campaign fund donors. There is no way to segregate these tax receipts at this time.

  15. Add a receipt interval to the recurring donation setup. We have some recurring donors who would prefer to only receive receipts at year’s end. Currently a profile’s email must be temporarily removed or set to inactive to ensure a receipt is not sent at the time a recurring donation is processed. When processing recurring donations they currently bypass the Receipt Bucket and move straight to the Posted Bucket.

  16. Please add the donation advisor field to the donation import file for bulk donation uploads. This would be extraordinarily helpful for our workplace giving program.

  17. The option to auto tax receipt based on the donation amount would be very beneficial as not every single small donation needs a tax receipt. This would be a setting in the donations settings that allows for the inputting of an amount and should that threshold be reached, then the donation or event ticket receipt would be automated. Otherwise, it would have to be manually processed.

  18. After importing pledges into CSuite users are unable to bulk post all of the pledges listed in the new bucket. This requires the user to click into each pledge & then post. This requires additional setup time when working with a high volume of pledges.

  19. When bulk importing pledges it is not possible to include the campaign that is associated with each of the pledges that are being imported. It has to be added 1 by 1 after the pledge is in CSuite which requires additional setup time after the import. This would save time when setting up pledges associated with a campaign in CSuite.

  20. When creating a donation, I would love to have the option to drag my attachment directly into that page before having to process the donation.

    I currently have to process the donation, then go into attach file and pull in my attachment there, and to finish up with posting it. It would simplify things for my workflow to just be able to drag my attachment into the screen where I'm creating a new donation. (We attach a copy of the check for all donations)
