Improvements to Donor Portal copy function for usability
Hi there! I received great feedback from a fund advisor on the new copy function for the Donor Portal. When doing numerous grants, the usability is not what it could be when trying to use the copy function. The available balance only tallies on the home page and there is nothing to indicate on the Grant History page that a grant was copied. When copying, you are taken to the request page, but that means you left the copy page. The result is a lot of toggling between tabs to try to keep straight what has or has not been…

Please allow users to bulk update the GLM Red ID field for historic grants (not processed in GLM/CSuite).

Customizing the Grant Letter Templates in CSuite
It would be helpful if we were able to add fields to the Grant Letter templates in CSuite so as to customize the letters according to our organization. For example, grant payment field is an option, but the amount of the entire grant is not and it would be helpful to add this in.

P.S. {{total_grant_amount}} is the field needed to include the total grant award in a grant letter template.

Convert grants submitted on portal as regular to internal
Some donors submit internal grants as regular grants through the portal. We'd like the ability to convert a regular grant into an internal transfer so we can select the Fund the donor wanted. We also don't want to code a bunch of funds as Promoted so they will show in the Foundation Funds drop-down menu which clutters it.

Previewing Reports
When running a report to obtain just a number, we are currently unable to simply preview the finished report and must download an entire spreadsheet. All we really need is the total amount of grants and the total sum of the grants. We could do this much more efficiently with the option to preview the report instead of having to download a spreadsheet we don't plan on using.

fund intent
It would be great to have the ability to validate that the grant type matched the intent of the fund the grant is being awarded from. The field on the fund would need to have multiple intent availability, as some funds cover more than one subject, such as Animals, Environment, Youth, etc. Then if the grant type did not match up with the fund intent it would provide a notification or warning on the grant to show the grant should be validated against fund intent before being processed.

All Fund Advisors to filter exports by date for donations and grants
Currently, when a Fund Advisor exports the contributions or grants, the report contains every gift or grant from the very beginning of the fund. It would be helpful if they could run the report for a specific date range.

Batch multiple vouchers for multifund grants
When a multifund grant is created the system separates it into line items that requires you to click on "create" for each line when creating an accounts payable voucher for AP to write one check. It would be very beneficial if there was a way to select more than one line and create the vouchers in batch. It would not be as beneficial if you had to select them all because sometimes we don't want all of the lines to be paid at that time due to cash flow considerations. Please see attached.

Edit all fields in a grant before saving
It would be great to be able to edit all fields in a grant and then save instead of having to edit one field, save, then edit another field and then save again.

Balance Swap Controls
Balance Swap Controls
We process numerous internal grants at the beginning of each fiscal year. These grants create internal grants payable which subsequently create swap requests. Since the grantee funds willl often not disburse the funds via external grants until much later in the year, we would like to exclude internal grants from the balance swap function or have a way to delay them. Making an internal grant from a fund to a fund which both have the same investment strategy should not require moving money between investment accounts.

Grant refund
Grant refunds should allow cheques and cash - we often receive cash as a refund instead of cheque (sometimes our granting programs only end up returning less than a dollar, which we still need to process). This would keep accounting much cleaner.

Internal Grant Payment Transfer Account
Currently when paying an internal grant, an algorithm is used to determine which account can be used as the Transfer Account for funds. If a fund is brand new and has no activity it will not give you the options of the appropriate transfer account to use. The CSuite user should have the ability to select the transfer account which is needed for each transaction.

Edit award amount
It would be very helpful to be able to easily edit the award amount in CSuite, after a grant has been created.

View grant history from fund record
Seeing the Grant Summary grid from the grantee record is nice, but it was be great to see that replicated on the Fund record as well!

email all contacts
I would be great to have the option to email all contacts at an organization. As a grant-maker working with international orgs, we prefer to have open communication with multiple people (min 3) at each org.

Recurring Grants
Recurring grants do not automatically get placed into the larger grant bucket. This needs to be fixed because it makes it very easy to miss a monthly or annually recurring grant if you don't have many of them.

add contact name to
When running the report from the Grants tab I would love it if the contact name for the Vendor was one of the fields. It would make sending grant letters / mail merge so much easier. It gives the salutation, why not add the whole name?

Add Pending Label to Future Internal Transfer Grants on the Fund Holder Portal
How pending Internal Transfer grants are displayed on the destination funds portal is misleading. They appear to be complete but are not included in the balance above. Please add “pending” label to future grants under “recent contributions” on the grantees’ fund holder portal so that it is clear on both the destination and source fund portals.
