  1. Now that we have the ability to email grant award letters (yay!) it would be so helpful to have the option to email the letter to multiple email address in addition to the primary email via Check run Batches.

  2. Please reverse changes on screen. The highlighted red is gone..which we used as prompts for next steps. WE will be calling/chatting with support just to write grant checks needing to go out today. VERY Frustrating as a new user. PLEASE change back

  3. it would be great when on a fund profile and pulling a grant report from the left-hand grant menu that grants could be filtered for grant description and grantee. When a fund has a long list of grantees it is a manual process right now. And/or being able to adjust the column view (to go by grantee and/or date) would be great too!

  4. Please provide us with more coding options for gifts received - this could be via subcode. We would like to be able to report on gift designations including unrestricted. We also need an additional code, on if we need to send a grant report and the date it might be due from a particular gift. Thank you!

  5. It would be helpful if we had more robust options for the aging report in AP. When you do the historical AP, you lose the dates (although they're listed for the grants payable). I'd love to see those dates.

    Enhancements to Payables were released on 11/2.  Here is the release note:


    Accounts Payable: Updated the Accounts Payable list to include an aging schedule for Accounts, Grants and Scholarships Payable based on the date of the Voucher, Grant or Scholarship. Enhanced the Historical AP left menu option which populates a report that will “age” the payable by year based on the payment line detail for the grant or scholarship record. This report is commonly requested at year end as audit prep begins. The Grant or Scholarship ID has been added along with the award date. Columns have been added that reflect the payment line detail by year.

  6. COPY AVAILABLE FOR CREATING GRANTS - it would be so efficient to be able to copy a previous grant and then change amounts, etc after so that other things that do not change don't have to be re-entered such as descriptions of unrestricted, letter template, area, covid code. This would be sooooo helpful especially during busy daf grant season which is already upon us. Also this would be very helpful for those working remotely (like me) who have very slow internet - it takes about 15 seconds to choose an item in a dropdown menu and to add one more…

  7. I would like to be able to set Grant Type, Service Area, and Grant letter template when setting up the beneficiary, so they don't have to be edited every year, since they are likely the same every year.

  9. For the grant purpose, the IRS directions say "Don't use general terms, such as charitable, educational, religious, or scientific." Is it at all possible to have the 990 report pull the "Description" field instead of the Grant Types that are very general?

    We typically have to report every single grant to an organization that we give more than $5,000 to because of the specific restrictions/designations on each gift. We would not be able to group them all under one general description which I believe is what the new update on the report would do.

  10. Currently, while we can have different templates available for each fund group/division, we cannot separate/sort the generated tax receipts by any functional method aside from Donation ID#.

    The checkboxes that allow us to choose the receipts we want to process means we have to maintain separate lists of the donation ID#s for each division/group - and check them one by one by one by one by one ... which, when we're dealing with multiple divisions/fund groups/affiliates, makes it incredibly tedious and much LESS efficient than moving tax receipt processing and merging outside of CSuite.   12. I have been paste and copying the Check Id detail attachment content and emailing vendors from CSuite. I though they woul want to be alerted about the ACH payments they can expect . It would be nice to be able to do that from the check batch . A similar process to how we can email grant and scholarship recipents letters .

  14. Most records in Csuite have a log which is awesome, however recurring grants do not (yet). Please add a log to recurring grants so we can see internally who created or updated those records. Thanks!

  16. Save settings for trial balance reports such as filters and show/hide subaccounts, ex subfund ect.

    these reports are helpful to balance gift, grant and pledge detail in general ledger to outer modules but it is a pain to have to recreate them each time

  17. Currently having to enter the same information individually for each grant is very tedious. Please make it possible to select a group of grants in a bucket, like 'request' or 'new' and allow certain bulk actions, such as changing the grant date and payment date and service area (until you associate service area with a profile).

  18. It would be great to be able to view and change/select the mailing address of the Grantee from the Grant ID view. Several grantees have multiple offices/branches/P.O. Boxes and this would help eliminate some of those issues. Adding a drop down of current Grantee addresses below where you select the Grantee would be a huge help.

    This will also allow our approvers to see that the grant will get mailed to the correct address, versus a different branch or outdated one, before they're being printed on checks and letters.

  19. We have a cumulative list of grants for our foundations that date back to 1979. It would be nice to be able to add that information to an organizations profile so all of our grant information is in one place.

  20. It would be helpful if grants that have been synced from GLM can still be edited after they are created in Csuite. For example, if the Fund needs changing or certain details need updates, the grant has to be backed up in the system until it is in the GLM bucket again before some details can be edited.
