  1. Please include a number count in the GRANT report. Right now when pulling a grant report for totals for the current year (which I have to do every week) the report only shows the total dollars. I need both the total dollars and a count of number of grants. So for this one thing I have to export to EXCEL and count.

  2. Anonymous grants don't print or make available to print the description on the check stub. It would be most helpful if the description was able to be printed. Being anonymous should only be related to the fund making the grant not what the money is for.

  3. Our previous portal had an option next to each previous grant where the fundholder could copy the grant, quickly verify the infmormation was correct, then resubmit it without having to re-enter the amount/description/notes.

  4. Fund Advisor Portal: Change Title on "Available Cash"
    We'd like for our advisors to be able see the amount available for granting in their funds but calling it "Available Cash" isn't technically correct and sounds crass. Can the name of this field be changed to "Available Amount" or "Amount Available for Granting"?

  6. I would like to be able to pull an accounts payable report that would give me the options to include either or both accounts payable checks and grant checks. We need to pull these reports for the auditors. (I.E. Accounts payable checks > $50,000).

    Enhancements to Accounts Payable was released on 11/2.  Here is the release note:  


    Accounts Payable: Updated the Accounts Payable list to include an aging schedule for Accounts, Grants and Scholarships Payable based on the date of the Voucher, Grant or Scholarship. Enhanced the Historical AP left menu option which populates a report that will “age” the payable by year based on the payment line detail for the grant or scholarship record. This report is commonly requested at year end as audit prep begins. The Grant or Scholarship ID has been added along with the award date. Columns have been added that reflect the payment line detail by year.

  7. Can you please make the project description box in the grant catalog bigger?

    It is very difficult to manage any HTML such as hyperlinks when the string gets bounced to the next line.

    10-4-2023: Grants: Enhanced the look of the Grant Catalog by adding tabs: Details, Grantees, Content.  This will allow for better organization of the fields within a grant Catalog.  The header box will be a quick reference point for the Catalog ID, Request Dates, Catalog Dates, and the Funding Goal.

    From the Details tab, users will find the detail options and settings, grant categories, and the reporting for the Grant Catalog.  Added the functionality for Grant Catalogs to allow for a Nonprofit to receive a donation amount over the Requested amount. This new option is a checkbox on the Grant Catalog Details tab, Allow Overfund Grants.    Once the grant has been fully funded, it will move from the Unfunded Bucket to the New Bucket.

    Grantees Tab will be house all of the Grantees information.  On the left hand menu, users will find a new options to Invite Grantees to the Grant…

  8. Can the Org Role "live" on the organization AND the Individual profile? Working with Margaret on a custom report, I was told that for the custom Grant report that I am building - I want to include an Org Role (Grantmaking Contact for that Org/Grantee) and subsequent individual profile email linked to that Org with that Org Role) for all grants issued last week - cannot be created because the Org Role actually LIVES on the Individual and since it's a grant report, the Org Role link is not available. This Org Role linked information needs to be available please.

  9. Currently when you do a check run and select specific criteria (ie. print PDF grant letter instead of download letter) you are unable to go back and select a different type of grant letter if the batch is posted. Is there a way to go back to that same batch and reprint all batched letters in a different format?

    I selected PDF print, but the letters did not come out as I wanted. I am unable to go back and select the download option to Word so I can fix the errors. I have to go into each individual grant…

  10. It would be helpful to have the option to click on 1 button to get a sortable list all grants made from a fund.

    When clicking on Grant Report from a fund, I must select a specific date or range of dates to see a list of grants from that fund. The problem is that when I'm searching for a specific grant that I know has been made from the fund, but I don't know when it was made, I have to either search several times, create a custom date range, or back out of the fund profile, look up…

  11. Please add the Spendable Balance field to the list of available fields in the Fund - Custom Report. We have several custom fund reports that we could produce directly from CSuite if we could add that current spendable amount also. As it is, we must export and either merge with the spendable field from the fund balance report or manually enter the spendables into our Excel spreadsheet.

  12. Allow the creation of spendable grants by fund, without having to do an entire group or subgroup at a time. We have nearly 200 designated & agency funds, and some require steps with the beneficiary before the funds can be released, per their original fund agreements. It would not be possible to process them all in one run. Or, after selecting a group/subgroup, allow us to select which ones we'd like to process at this time.

  13. When recording a grant refund, the system creates a new grant record that is negative rather than reducing the paid amount of the grant being refunded. If a payment is intended to be reissued, it would require the user to create a whole new grant entirely rather than just adding a new payment on the same grant. The fund advisor on the portal will then see the original grant, separate grant with a negative amount, and a new grant for the re-issuance. This is also inconsistent with how scholarship refunds are handled which reduces the scholarship paid amount and requires…

  14. Please make Google translate available on the Donor Portal pages. This is a barrier to access for our Fund holders that do not default to English as their primary language and limits our offerings to them like grant catalog and grant recommendation requests.

  15. Would like to be able to skip the time spent loading the charts in Fund History - we are often searching for a specific donation or grant and don't want or need the pie charts. Clicking on donations or grants should directly pull up the list and then if we want or need the charts there should be an option to pull those up instead of having to wait through the time for the chart to load and then the list to load.

  17. Right now, there are two ways to support a project listed in the Grant Catalog - one with a credit/debit card, the other by making a grant recommendation in the donor portal. It would be helpful if there was a webpage that showed both options on one single page. Right now, you have to visit two different webpages depending on how you want to support the project. Combining these options into one page could make for a better user experience. Thanks for your consideration!

  18. I have several endowment funds that grant annually to the same grantee(s) by percentage, e.g., 50% to A, 25% to b, 25% to C, of each year's annual distribution. And always wanting the checks to be mailed the same day every year. Using beneficiaries and recurring grants, would love a function that would do the annual math since the amount changes each year.

  19. Legacy global search numbers.

    Legacy numbers in global search has become a problem when searching for a profile. To many legacy grant numbers appear and will not allow for profiles. Also now when searching a profile number, many times two appear, because one is a legacy number. On August 5 the release notes state that an update for global search to search for legacy IDs. Is it possible to have this reversed?

  20. When running a donor/donations/grants/grantee report from the funds page, it would be nice to have an option to select "all dates". When I'm running these reports, I find the majority of the time I want to see all donations/grants to/from a particular fund, not just for a certain year or quarter. I'm constantly typing in a date range of 01/01/1900 - 12/31/2019. Not a major concern, just something I've always thought would be helpful.
