  1. (Reposting an archived idea) Please add the ability to link multiple beneficiary profiles to one opportunity. It is common for us to track gifts (e.g. bequests or planned gifts) that will end up benefiting multiple organizations in our community, and we would like to be able to report on opportunities benefiting each organization without having to create duplicate opportunities for each beneficiary of a gift.

    🔄 New Feature: Assign Multiple Profiles to a Single Opportunity


    Overview:

    We’ve introduced the ability to assign multiple profiles to a single opportunity through a new field called Connected Profile, Secondary Assignee, Professional Advisor, Connected Profiles, Additional Beneficiary. This enhancement improves tracking and visibility across both Opportunity and Profile records.

    ✅ Opportunities Enhancement
    • A new Connected Profile field has been added to the Opportunity record.
    • Users can now associate multiple additional profiles with a single opportunity.
    • This allows for greater flexibility and accuracy in managing complex or shared opportunities.
    • The Secondary Assignee field is multi-select.
    • All assigned users will have visibility.

  2. Can you change the Opportunity Stage name "Ignorance" to "Unaware", it is not good for relationship building to use this type of language. Thanks for considering.

    As long as you have edit permissions, you should be able to edit an opportunity type and stages. In Opportunities, select List Types, then select the ID of the opportunity you would like to edit. There is an option in the left side menu to edit the opportunity. This area is also where you can add your own opportunities and stages.

  3. The columns in each of the buckets have the ability to alpha sort (or largest-smallest), but it does not work--or seems to only work randomly. It takes several clicks to actually get the column to sort alpha or reverse alpha. If they are not supposed to be sorted, please remove the sort icon at the headers.

  4. We would like to link the profile of the Professional Advisor and/or Firm who brought a donor to our organization within the Opportunity. Currently we are using a Custom Field (Text) but would like the ability to link the opportunity directly to the profile of the referral source.

  5. The sort function isn't available on the opportunities list (despite the sort icon showing at the top of a column). Please make the sort function available on this and other lists. Having to create a custom report just to sort by date is a hassle.

    Tables in CSuite can be sorted once the default sort is removed.  The Opportunity table buckets are sorted by ID.  In order to turn this off, select the ID header until the arrow disappears.  Then select another column to sort.  You can also select the column you would like as the secondary sort, then remove the id sort.  Please contact support@foundant.com if you have further questions.

  6. When generating a letter from a letter template within an opportunity, the address should be the "primary" address, not the first address on the profile. Right now, the first address may be an inactive address but that is the address it pulls in the template. Support Chat said the software was designed this way. :(

  7. It would be helpful if an "Open Opportunity" pop up notification comes up when entering a donation. Just how Open Pledges show up when entering a donation for a profile that has an open pledge (picture). This would an amazing feature, especially if there's over 100 opportunities created.

  8. It would be helpful to be able to delete duplicate opportunity tasks in a donor's Opp notes profile. For example, if a specific task is no longer relevant or was written accidentally to someone's profile there should be an option to delete it.

  9. PLEASE - build in the ability to build a task. We have recently had several deceased individuals with tasks and opportunities assigned. We need to be able to delete them, rather than marking them as done. This is so important due to the fact that we are tracking our tasks completed for board reporting and so simply cannot mark something as done that was not, and no longer needs to be done.

  11. We are working with opportunities, but we do not give all ambassadors access to CSuite, so we manage some of our interactions in spreadsheets. It would be wonderful if we could import updates to opportunities. Currently, we can import notes, but no other information. It would be great to be able to import opp tasks as well, so that we can track and report on all activity.

  12. Currently, when you mark an opportunity as closed, and select successful or unsuccessful, the system automatically stamps the opportunity with the current date and time. There is no option right now to select a prior date. Because we are linking funds to opportunities, I don't want to close it until that is complete. It would be helpful to select the closed date so that I can more accurately use this data in custom reports to view what closed in each month.

    11-21-2021 Added the ability to make an Opportunity Type and Opportunity Task/Note Type inactive. Inactive types will not show in the list for selection when adding or editing an opportunity or opportunity task/note. Inactive users will no longer show in the Assigned To list in an when adding or editing an Opportunity Task.

  15. Can you make it so the Opportunity Type and associated Profile are able to be changed after an Opportunity is created?
    This would make it similar to the ability to change the assigned staff, or donation size or fund, etc.

  17. Can you set up the system to be able to link an opportunity that was retroactively created After a donation is processed?
    Currently, you can only link a donation to an opportunity if the opportunity was created before the donation was entered.

  18. Keep completed tasks in the opportunity they are tied to but just marked as 'complete'. It would be SO helpful to see a running list of all contact made with a donor in relation to the opportunity in a wholistic way without having to export completed tasks.
