1. Scholarship refund by student/parents

   Since Covid-19, the universities have been sending the refund checks to the students. Some students send the refund checks to the foundation from their checking account. When entering the refund to the original scholarship, it would be really nice to be able to change the grantee from the school to an individual's name. Also need a place to enter their check number.

2. default school for scholarships

   It would be much more beneficial if you could set multiple options for the default school when setting up a scholarship. We do have a few scholarships that are only available to students attending one specific school, but the majority of our scholarships usually have 3-4 different options of schools. So then when a new scholarship is created, you could easily pick from those 3-4 options vs. having to look up the grantee everytime.

3. Default Payment Date for Scholarships (& maybe grants)

   When adding a scholarship to a fund, it would be extremely helpful to add a default payment date so that every time a scholarship was created, it would automatically populate with that default date. My organization has two different categories of scholarships. We have over 100 "external" scholarship funds (ones that we don't manage the competitive process) that get paid out in late June; and then we have over 60 "internal" scholarship funds (ones that we manage the entire competitive process) that get paid out in late July.

   Yes there will always be scholarships that are not paid on either of those dates as that is the nature of scholarships, but essentially we have 2 payment dates that don't change from year to year. This past year we awarded a combined total of almost 600 scholarships and it only continues to decrease. A huge time saver would be to not have to add that payment date every time you enter a new scholarship.

4. Scholarship note/summary field

   It would be ideal to have a summary field on the scholarship records, like we do on grant records, to be able to capture notes in a report.
