  1. Have the heading in the fund advisor portal match the tabs they fall under. Currently you can change the name of the tabs, but the headings inside those tabs do not change. See screen shot. We changed voucher tab to invoice to better describe the content in there, but the heading in the portal stayed voucher.

  2. To ease styling for new features like the recent change that allows Fund Advisors to change their profile contact information and to enable two-factor authentication, it would be helpful to have an identifying class of some sort within the code, or at the very least, a class added to the body or ftcontentcontainer div that tells us what page we're on (so that we can style things within that div differently than on other pages).

    Current style updates have been released to sandbox environments.  We are going to collect new feedback moving forward for the Portal (this will be a new category), so moving this to Not Planned so requests between new and legacy are not confusing to all.


    Due to the release of the Portal in the sandbox (August in Live sites), requests related to the legacy fund advisor system are being moved to not planned. Foundant plans to sunset the legacy fund advisor portal on 4/1/2025.

  3. When merging duplicate Fund Advisor profiles, the existing fund advisor URL is disabled and a new login is required to be sent.

    Can this be reviewed so that FA's do not lose their access to their portal login when a profile merge is actioned.

  4. In the Donor Portal, from Recommend a Grant tab, there's a highlighted alert that reads: NOTE: There is an active grant catalog happening. You can give here.

    Let's make this field editable so that folks who've changed the name of their Grant Catalog can offer consistent language for fund advisors.

  5. As local Community Foundations continue to compete with national DAF providers, we are continually asked to bring technology improvements that our donors are seeing elsewhere. One frequent request from our donor advisors is the ability to see when grant checks have been cashed by the grantee organizations they have supported through their DAFs.

    This request asks that you consider what might be involved in bringing this improvement, even incrementally. Included is a screen snip of the information currently available through a Fidelity DAF. The donor advisor can clearly see when the check was cleared, in addition to the internal processing…

    In the new Portal, the check status of reconciled is viewable when an individual grant is viewed.

  6. It would be helpful if, in the donor portal, it was clear to the fundholder that the Description field is visible to grantees but the Notes field is visible only internally. We have donors enter info in Notes that they want the grantee to see (e.g. "Thanks for all you do, from Joe Smith"), and we have to choose to copy it into the Grant Description field (labor intensive) or ignore it.

  7. We would like to be able to see from the Fund record who the required signatories are to make a grant recommendation. How are other community foundations doing this? Many agency, committee, corporate, and designated funds have more than one fund advisor listed who can recommend a grant and don't require additional signatures. Some funds are set up so ALL fund advisors are required to make a grant. Right now, we have to open the fund agreement for each fund to determine what is required. We are considering a custom field, but wanted to know how other people do this.…

    I would use a custom field if you are needing to do reports with this information.  You could also add an alert to grants for that fund with the information. Like this fund requires 2 signatures before processing grants..that would be a good way to see the information quickly.

  8. It would be great to have the ability to temporarily shut down the donation portal.

    We recently had an issue (our error--and of course Foundant helped us fix it!!) that caused fund balances to show incorrectly. We were worried, of course, about donors seeing bad information in the donor portal. While we could have taken the log in page off of our website, a fair amount of our donors have the site bookmarked, so still could have gotten in. We also thought about unlinking Fund Advisors on the affected funds, but we have over 800 funds, so that would have…

  9. Currently on the Donor Portal when the fund is a scholarship, the Total Grants amount on the Home page shows $0, even though the Grants From The Fund page shows all scholarships granted from the fund. It is confusing to our donors to originally see that $0 grants have been made from the fund, but then click in a different tab and see all of the scholarships/grants that have gone out of the fund. Can these two areas be connected?

  10. We just sent login information for the Fund Advisor Portal and were surprised to see the system email (with the unique URL to create their password) was mailed to the primary profile email and NOT the email selected as the login. It would be nice if it went to the email we selected as login.

  13. How cool would it be if you could add a sticky note/flag to a portal log in (kind of like you can do with sticky notes in CSuite). I don't mean an attached file. I mean more like a flag that appears only for selected portal logins that tells that specific portal user something special.
