  1. With the last update, File Uploads are automatically checked off when we select PDF as a file type in Merge Template. We would like to have a way to turn this default off.

  2. Hi there! We have a fund that allows a student to remain in the program (without payment) without submitted a follow up. It would be nice to "close" a follow up to allow the next one to be available instead of having to delete the incomplete follow up. Sometimes they don't submit the correct document and it would be nice to have that to look at still. Thanks!

  3. I am not sure if this is a GLM or C-Suite idea, but it would make more sense if the thumbs up sequence in GLM to push payments through C-Suite were the other way around... so thumbs down to thumbs up instead of thumbs up to thumbs down..... :)

  6. It would be great to have the ability to assign follow-ups prior to approving a grant, similar to how we can now assign installments prior to approving the grant. The reason is that we know our agenda prior to the board meeting and we have trustees from out of town who need to sign grant letters, therefore, we need to create the approval letters prior to our board meeting. We want to be able to assign payments and follow-ups so that we may generate our correspondence, but we don't want to have to actually approve the grant a month before…

  7. When going into "contact email history" and attempting to resend an email to a third party, the auto-filled recipient is the applicant and not the 3rd party. It would be extremely convenient to be able to quickly resend automated emails to 3rd parties from "contact email history" instead of having to go back into the application to do so.

  8. I assign interim and annual followups upon grant approval for each grant. I would like to be able to close out just the follow ups and not the grants so that I don't have to search through potentially hundreds of followups to find the current one. Can this be considered? Thanks in advance.

  9. I would love to see the documents from the document viewer side by side with the evaluation questions. That would make it easy to make decisions based on what might be seen on documents such as a resume or transcript.

  11. We are currently working on developing a capacity development process. This process includes an LOI, organizational assessment application, and a capacity development application. The LOI is used to allow organizations to express their interest in overall capacity development. The foundation will utilize the LOI to determine whether the organization is ready for this type of work. Once an organization is ready to move forward, we will move them to an organizational assessment stage where a consultant will conduct an assessment to identify key areas the organization must focus on. This is where the organizational assessment application would come in handy…

  12. It is great to be able to use Guidestar to find an organization and import them into our GLM as a new organization. However, for existing organizations (Legacy Data), it would be nice to import/merge Guide Star information (EIN, etc.) with the organization account already in our database.

  13. Consider adding some type of date column for all the LOIs in draft form so we can easily sort by date to see how long LOIs have been languishing in draft form. And it would be great if we could email the applicant directly from there - or that may already be an option but I can't recall. Thanks!

  14. Since several of our scholarship applicants need to have a transcript and a letter of recommendation - it would be nice if they could upload 1 time to their profile, instead of to each application.

  15. Would it be possible to delete an evaluation that was started by mistake. As staff, we don't always know a conflict of interest that an evaluator has. We provide clear instructions to evaluators to leave their conflicts blank but those instructions are not always read. I had a board member start an evaluation then realized he should not be evaluating that grant. There was no way for me to delete his answers or remove him as evaluator on that application.

  16. In GLS, files are ordered in the date they are uploaded to the grantee file, which aren't always uploaded in order of actual creation. Could 1 of 2 solutions be possible?
    1. Have a sortable feature on the description or file name field; that would allow user to place date in the front of each file name and find it in logical order of grant file or
    2. Have the ability to manually date stamp each document based on real creation date to control the ordering of documents.

  17. When searching for users, if I need members of a certain committee, it would be great to be able to search by committee name (name of grant or scholarship) since the name of those on the committee may not be known at that time.

  18. I think it would be very helpful to have the approved amount awarded to an organization populated on the applicant dashboard. It is not intuitive or easy for an applicant to retrieve that information.

  19. Create new role for a financial manager or finance person. We are hiring a new financial manager and they do not need all the access of an admin or grants manager. Just someone to write in check number and be accountable for grants paid.

  20. Applicants should be able to copy their previous answers onto application forms even when there is an LOI in that process. Currently, our applicants can only select "Copy Previous Answers" on the first form in a process which is the LOI form, but the bulk of our questions are on the application form and that button doesn't appear as an option on that form. This should be configured for both forms.
