  1. Got a great idea from one of my grantees in their eval today:
    "While it was easy for me to acquire login information from your organization, it might be easier on you to have people create their own account and then choose their organization from a drop down box. It would save you from always having to create accounts."
    So think about that as an option!
    Meanwhile - I have to go merge two people from the same school district because someone didn;t contact me and I thought I had the duplicate id warning set up,

  2. Please add an alert (chime, bell, etc.) to the chat function. When using chat, I often will move back to doing work while I wait for the chat to begin or, a response that is taking a few minutes. I have to continually check back to be sure the response hasn't come in. An alert in the form of a sound would be helpful rather than having to check back every few minutes. Thanks.

  3. Create dropdown question for locations (State, City) when organizations are creating their profiles on Foundant. As we run reports, I have noticed that organizations will misspell cities, write city names in ALL CAPS, abbreviate state names, or write state names in ALL CAPS. This presents a problem when generating reports and having to go back and clean all that. It would be great if organizations had the option to select the state where they are located from a drop down menu, then choose the city they are located in from a drop down menu as well.   4. The system does not notify me when the next payment is due and I was just wondering if that could be something added as I tend to forget. I thought this would be a nice feature especially for Community Foundation who have multiyear grants/installments throughout many years.

    We also grant some funds in three year cycles as they are smaller funds with highly specific designations. I would love a way to check each grant and what year they are in using the installment form. It would be great just to schedule a reminder for ourselfs.

  5. I know there is a place to add fields to user forms, which we've done. But to actually see the pronouns, you need to be in the user record or editing the user field information. It would be useful to have the pronoun information show up on the Contacts tab of an organization record and/or on the Contact Info tab on a submitted request. As it is now, our board has no way of seeing this information because they can't go into user records.   6. It would be very beneficial to allow Shared Documents to be uploaded per Process. Currently if you upload shared documents, all board members in other processes can also see anything that is uploaded. We are unable to use this for our committees for this reason and I have to e-mail the documents versus the board members being able to review them in Foundant.

  8. Wouldn't it be great to "Sync Dev" as we do in CSuite in order to test proc esses with up-to-date information, forms, reports, etc. ? This could be extremely helpful to those of us who are just getting used to GLM and all the nuances!

  9. We have our evals set up to get management approval of submitted grants before we proceed with processing them. I'd love to get a notification that the evals were completed to serve as a prompt for me to log in and move the application forward.

  14. When using a merge template to create word or PDF documents, it would be really helpful id the file name included the organization name or project name. For example, when having to download multiple PDF applications individually (from the Request & Decisions page), the file name used for all is the name of the merge template file. I then have to go back and rename each application form which is very cumbersome.

    Hopefully, this is an easy fix:)

  15. I would be helpful to see "Complete" Status on the Application Evaluation dashboard. How does an Administrator know that an evaluator has completed their review except to have to click in the Application Evaluation "Assigned" - which defeats the purpose of a dashboard? Thank you

  16. It would be helpful if you could create evaluator print packets after you have assigned your evaluators. Right now you can only batch create them BEFORE you've assigned them which isn't helpful. I want to be able to create application packets for evaluators if I need to (eg they are late or having trouble doing it themselves). It would also be helpful to be able to create packets of the top applications which you wouldn't know until after evaluations are done. You also can't create batch evaluation reports.

  17. See above. Dollar values (e.g. $50,000) generate into reports as text, not numerical values. This means you need to convert it to a number in excel to do numerical analysis on it (like summing or subtracting).

  18. The Organization Summary Page currently shows Status, Amount Grant, and Amount Paid. It does not allow us to readily see which of our Program Staff a grant is assigned to. As we award multiple grants to one specific organization and oftentimes, those grants are assigned to different Program Staff in our office, it would be wonderful to see at a glance, which PS person a grant is assigned to. Similar to the way we are able to add a few custom columns to the Follow Ups Submitted page, we should be able to do the same on ALL pages we…

  19. We are a scholarship organization and fund students for four years of undergraduate study. We contact them at least three times per year via your email system, and the students don't respond very well to emails anymore. Local high schools have said, "Why don't you use REMIND.COM or the like - just text your scholarship recipients instead of email reminders." We collect our students mobile phone numbers - can you incorporate a text reminder program into your software processes? Thanks, Jim K. - keep up your good work!

  20. Please make it so you can be logged into SLM and GLM at the same time. Many of us work with both scholarships and grants and not being able to stay logged into both is very inconvenient.
