  1. When you copy a profile in CommunitySuite, the "donor" "vendor" etc. profile types do not carry over into the new, duplicated profile. This would be helpful for organizations working on organizing their profiles that include a network of individuals and organizations.

  2. I would love to have an integrated address validation tool in CSuite. It would also be helpful if City and State fields could be converted to a dropdown with editing privileges? It would limit errors and could speed up address entry. If we had a City table with editing privileges, we could minimize spelling errors in city names. I would love to be able to set a default state? I realize you have clients in other countries and with editing privileges, they could add their states to the field. Just thoughts on ways to improve our addresses.

  3. Would be great to have a complete picture of all emails sent with the profile. If I send an award letter, that is only tracked/noted with the grant, not as an overall communication with the profile. That's not the best set up, as I think you'd want to see the full picture of any/all communications with a profile. Perhaps, since you have that capability in SLM to send and see status of emails (in rich text!) you could integrate in csuite as well.

  4. With our migration to CSuite, nearly all donation history is assigned to the household but as donations are made online in CSuite, these new donations are usually saved to one of the individual profiles in the household.

    In the old profiles design, it was a simple click to move between the household donations and the individual's donations.

    In the new design, there does not appear to be an easy way to move from the individual donor to the household donations and back. Is there something we are missing???

  5. Could you please move the Parent/Child Org Relationship closer up. You have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page on several of my profiles with the relationship. I have attached an example. There needs to be a better way of seeing of all the boxes with a profile. Is there a way to make the detail page as the main page and eliminate that box?

  6. Please offer the ability to set permissions on every single field in all Profile types, for both 'create' and 'edit.' In the same way Profile fields can now be designated as 'required,' can that logic be reversed to allow Admins to set permissions/access to each field according to group permissions? We have lots of staff creating and editing Profiles, and, DESPITE training (which is a lot of 'don't ever enter anything in that field!'), in those quiet moments when they are alone, staring into that bright, empty Profiles screen, they choose chaos.

  7. I'd like the ability to Edit our current list of Phone Types. Currently category types are all in lower case and I'm not able to go in and simply capitalize our listings. I'd also like to determine which number should be the default choice - currently ours is 'main' which is fine for a big company but gets confusing for individuals. Is the main number at home or work? Is it a cell number or landline?

    Considering that I can edit Email Types and Address Types I find this restriction odd.

  8. It would be a nice boost to be able to add images of different shapes to our organization's profiles. A lot of our organizational fund holders like agency and project fund folks have logos that don't fit neatly into that perfect square or circle that is defined for that image space. For example, this agency is going to be launching a campaign to boost their fund here at our Foundation. I tried resizing the image but it won't work that way. Redefining that field to allow images of different shapes would probably be necessary. This would be especially helpful also…

  9. We can run an audit log to see profiles created but cannot see profiles deleted (just name would be awesome). I can see when we delete addresses and phone numbers but not the whole profile. We are trying to clean up all the extra profiles our conversion created under households but have realized there is no way to track which profiles have been deleted (either by profile ID # or name). This would be beneficial in case something was done in error and as a supervisory validation.

  10. I appreciate the recent separation of Profile Links between links among profiles vs the links of a person's role at the Organization, but I've found while navigating reporting - since the change rolled out - that the profile filter referring to Profile Linked to Organization has become confusing in opposition to the Role at Organization filter option.

    My suggestion is that the overall category of Profile Links remain the same, but that the naming difference among the Profile Link/Profile Link and the Profile Link/Organization Role be simplified to Relationships and Roles. That would look like this:

  11. It would be helpful for the "work organization" field in a profile to be a searchable/self-populating type field (like for funds, etc) so that you can link a profile to their employer easier.

  12. When searching for a donor profile, I encounter (in the dropdown) entries from the legal name field, first and last name fields, and household name field. Without some additional description (ie profile number or descriptive acronym, such as "HH" for household), I end up clicking on each instance of someone's name, just to be sure I'm not looking at a duplicate record. Also, why is the one fund listed twice in this search?

  13. When you are in a profile and edit profile type, it would be great if there was also a save button at the top of the screen. If you click that you want to 'none', you still have to scroll all the way to the bottom to save. It's pretty minor but when you are updating a lot of profiles, it would be really helpful. Thanks.

  14. Would be nice to be able to enter an address with only the city, state, zip.
    I have a vendor with just that info for an address but the system won't save it without an address line. Have to put a period or some other "placeholder" for the system to save the city and state.

  15. I have experienced this twice now... I am trying to delete a profile that has no connections preventing the deletion except the profile is a Fund Advisor. In each case, after deleting the Fund Advisor relationship, I am still unable to delete the profile.

    The error message is "Unable to delete the profile because there are references to it elsewhere in the system. Please set to inactive instead."

    Is this occurring because there is some residual data that remains in the Fund Advisor relationship (e.g., password)? If that is the problem, then CSuite should delete all information related to the…

  16. Give us the option to add Orgs to Households. It's impossible to track a family's full giving without also rolling up what they've given from their businesses. The donor and the people are the ones driving those donations.

  17. Besides the ever-so-slightly bolded font for which designation you are looking at if you happen to be in the grantee, fund advisor, etc. record, it can be very hard to tell which record you are looking at. It would be clearer if "main profile" was also listed in the designation area and the selected designation was highlighted or made more prominent than just the bold text.

  18. Allow a Household to be the Contact for an Organization - for example, often a couple owns a business, or two people are the contacts for a foundation. The system should allow you to choose whether to input the fields for an individual or the fields for a household as the contact/contacts.

  19. Before the profile links changed, it used to be the case where the left-hand side had options of "Make Individual," "Make Household," and "Make Organization" would show up no matter what. But now, if a profile has any org role link, I guess you can't see those options anymore. So the workaround is to delete the profile links. You have the opportunity to convert the profile to household, individual or organization, and then you have to reassign the profile link. It is an unnecessary workaround; I had to go through C-Suite chat support to understand this was the case.

  20. When importing donations or profiles, the prefix field is problematic. If I have Mary Smith and 123 Main Street, and C-Suite has Ms. Mary Smith at 123 Main Street, it doesn't register that those two are the same and add the donation to that profile. Same with households.
