Sending Grant Letters in Bulk from Foundant System
Currently, you have to go one-by-one to send grant letters out. It would be helpful to be able to choose a handful of ones you would like to send out automatically via the Foundant email system and bulk send.
1 voteYou can currently print grant letters in batch from the check batch. From checks, find the grant batch and select check run. You will see an option to print grant letters for the batch. We are releasing a new enhancement to the sandbox this week, then live on December 7th, 2022 that will move the production of grant letters to a bucket in the grant area. Keep an eye on release notes.

Grant Letter Tracking
It would be incredibly helpful to have a grant letter tracking "section" within the grant itself that shows a timestamp of when the grant letter was sent and to whom.
A bonus would be to have the actual grant letter attached to that timestamp to see EXACTLY what the letter sent (with the actual date, not the automatic date that shows up when you go to see/download the grant letter at a later date).1 voteTemplates for Grant & Scholarship Letters: Moved the processing of Grant & Scholarship letters from the check area. grant catalog
When sending grants to CSuite for a Grant Cycle Catalog, there is no way to send the "Long Description" field, so that it appears on the Donate page for the grant. All that appears on the Donate page is the "short" Description. Perhaps the Summary field could be used instead, if there is no long description?

Create Spendable Grants with Primary Fund Advisor Auto Populated
Creating Spendable Grants leaves the Advisor field empty. When processing hundreds of grants at a time, this means that we have to go into each grant and assign an advisor so that the advisor name will show up in the grant letter. We would like to see this field auto populated with the Primary Fund Advisor. This will save a huge amount of time and energy!

REMOVE CHANGES on user interface made 05/04/2022 to colors, fonts, overall page look and feel. This change worsens readability
Please reverse changes on screen. The highlighted red is gone..which we used as prompts for next steps. WE will be calling/chatting with support just to write grant checks needing to go out today. VERY Frustrating as a new user. PLEASE change back

Filter grants from Fund Profile in Grant Reports
it would be great when on a fund profile and pulling a grant report from the left-hand grant menu that grants could be filtered for grant description and grantee. When a fund has a long list of grantees it is a manual process right now. And/or being able to adjust the column view (to go by grantee and/or date) would be great too!

Coding options for gifts - in addition to type of grant e.g. environment, need sub code for unrestricted, etc.
Please provide us with more coding options for gifts received - this could be via subcode. We would like to be able to report on gift designations including unrestricted. We also need an additional code, on if we need to send a grant report and the date it might be due from a particular gift. Thank you!

Org Role needs to "live" on Org profile not just the Individual profile
Can the Org Role "live" on the organization AND the Individual profile? Working with Margaret on a custom report, I was told that for the custom Grant report that I am building - I want to include an Org Role (Grantmaking Contact for that Org/Grantee) and subsequent individual profile email linked to that Org with that Org Role) for all grants issued last week - cannot be created because the Org Role actually LIVES on the Individual and since it's a grant report, the Org Role link is not available. This Org Role linked information needs to be available please.

Editing Grant Category
We need to be able to edit the grant category after a grant has been paid. The Cycle is editable, so it seems like the category should be as well.

Set Grant Advisor - Deceased Donor Show
When you go to set the grant advisor within a grant, because you cannot select ONLY those who are associated with the fund, please show if the profile is deceased.

Grant Date locked after Approval
We have a desire for the grant date and several other grant fields to be locked down after the grant is approved. We are hoping the grant date reflects the General Ledger posting date, so a listing of grants by date can always tie to the general ledger. Currently, the grant date and other financially oriented fields can be modified without requiring the grant to be unposted or unapproved. It also currently allows most grant fields to be modified without the initial approval being retracted, requiring additional approval of the subsequent modifications. Add the ability to assign permission to a grant group to delete grants that are NOT yet posted AND to give grant group ability to bypass Charity Check if needed (ie: an expenditure responsibility grant)

Change Grant Catalog tab name in donation portal (currently can only chg in Fund Holder portal)

Summary Reporting on Grant type
I would like to see a summary report option on grant type. Currently, the only way to create this type of report is to export the grants from each grant type one at a time into a spreadsheet.

notification for grants
When we set up portal users there are times where we don't want them to see grants out or donations in. However, even when we click no to view, they still get email notifications if they are fund advisors. Why? The notifications should be turned off too. This circumvents the purpose of fund advisors not being able to see activity if they get notified by email anyway. Can notifications be turned off when clicked no on portal?

Show or hide Scholarships tab by Fund Advisor
Currently, once a fund has scholarships visible on the portal, it is visible for all fund advisors. That tab should be able to be toggled on and off for individual advisors the way the grants tab can be.
